"Lala.. hmm.. I wanna close my eyes and.." hum ko sa isa sa mga paborito kong kanta ng E-Levate.
"Danie! I heard what happened sa foundation day and I'm really sorry na wala ako dun." Cams said. My best pal and my cousin.
"Got over it, Cams. It was a week ago no. Mabuti nalang hindi sila dito sa Grimley High nag-aaral, kundi hindi ko kinaya ang kahihiyan." I stated, and that's a relief. Nachismis din ako ng ilang days.
"Well newsflash girl. I'm sorry but E-Levate band will be studying here starting next week. Akala ko ba ikaw ang number one fan nila. How can you not know that?"
Napatigil naman ako sa pagkain dahil sa sinabi niya. I'm a week late sa news!
"Tsk! Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?! Papa confiscated all my gadgets and connections. Alien ako ng isang linggo!" nanlumo akong tiningnan ang fansclub at ang official site ng E-Levate and it's true.
Naexcite naman ako dahil makikita ko na araw-araw si Prince, and if I'm lucky enough. Sana maging classmate ko siya.
"Aha!" A bright idea popped in my mind.
"Hey! Danie ang creepy mo ah. What's with the smile? Definitely that is not good."
"Shut up, Cams."
It's not a harm right? I will be a good girl for a week para matuwa si Papa and he's going to grant my wish.
Tumunog na ang bell at umalis na kami ni Cams sa Lin Garden. Lola's blue rose garden, so Lolo named it to her.
"Hi Danie!"
"Miss! A gift for you." napahinto ako dahil sa isang ninth grader na may hawak na poster ni Prince with his signature. Fyi, he's a guy.
I took it and say thanks to him. Obvious naman na he's showing that he adores me. Well, it's kinda tiring sometimes. Katulad nalang ngayon. Nasa locker area ako at punung-puno na naman ito ng letters and gifts.
Dahil sa dami nito ay pati yung empty locker sa tabi ko ay may laman na ding mga regalo.
Araw-araw na lang ganito. Ang ibang regalo ay binibigay ko na kay Cams. Well, Cams is pretty famous too. Kaya minsan di na niya rin tinatanggap ito.
"Miss. Committee meeting at 3." My VP informed me.
"Sure, thanks." I looked at my stuff and look to Mickey. It can't be a harm right?
"Ah, Mickey? Here, take this and this. I'm sorry. I just don't know how will I keep it. Besides, it'll suit you." I smiled to her.
"Uhm. Ano. Thanks Miss!" she blushed and smiled.
Napangiti naman ako. Minsan ko lang siyang makitang ngumiti. And it made me happy. Well, truth to be told she's a scholar and I know how hard is that. But I admire her willingness to finished school.
"Try to be more confident, Mickey. Maganda ka." I smiled and go to my next class.
I hope my words will cheer her up. She's doing her best to fit in but not everyone will accept that.
Hays! What am I saying?
Committee Meeting.
"Pres, what about the E-Levate?" Kinikilig na tanong ni Miss Fund.
"Fund, We don't need to make a fuss about them. Let's treat 'em like a just one of us. Well, except for the--"
"Hep! Stop it, Pres. We all know that your a fan of E-Levate. So, stop acting like you don--" I cut Mr. Event Coor. to what he's saying.
Alam ko naman ipagdidiinan nya lang na fan ako and it's really annoying.
"Yeah, whatever. What's next? I will handle the E-Levate. Oh right! The Valentines ball for seniors. Mr. Event Coor. honestly I don't like your ideas about the ball. Try another. Explore." I don't mean to be rude to him but he's pushing my buttons.
Simula nung ako na ang nagtake over sa pagiging president ng Committee, he always says alot to me. Akala mo kilalang kilala nya ako.
"Well, no more suggestions for the ball? Okay. Meeting adjourne."
Nagunahan silang maglakad palabas ng Committee hall. It's already 4 in the afternoon and class hours ended hour ago. Wala ng masyadong student sa building. Except dun sa mga may practice sa iba't ibang clubs.
Speaking of clubs. Nah. I don't want to take another risk to that club. Never again.

Inayos ko na ang mga gamit ko and headed my way out.
