False Alarm
Danarine's Point of view
Almost an hour din ako nag-iiyak dahil sa sinabi ni Cams. I don't know what to say. I tried to calm myself, maybe there's a reason kung bakit gusto ni Papa magpunta sa Australia.
"Umiyak ka?" Mama said when she saw my eyes puffy and red.
"Cams, pwede iwanan mo muna kami." Utos niya kay Cams and she obeyed it.
She's looking at me like a strayed puppy before leaving the room. I give her a sad smile.
"Ma, why are we going to Australia?" I exhaustedly ask her. She smiled at halos mawala na yung eyes niya. Well, she's a chinita afterall.
"Danie, sorry to say this but hindi ka kasama samin ng Papa mo. It's a business trip and I think Cams overheard us wrong. So, don't stress out." she calmly explained.
I heaved out a sigh. That's a relief. Cams is sometimes o.a. too.. Atleast I can still go to the school and admire my Prince from afar. Alam ko naman kasi na different sections kami. Not that I really knew it but I just don't like to expect.
"That's a relief, Ma."
"But you still need to take a break from all the activities, kahit wala kami maraming nagbabantay sayo. Remember that." She reminded me.
I smiled at her. Inayos niya ang pagkakahiga ko and kissed my forehead.
"Sleep, Danie."

After days of relaxing. Actually it's just three days.
"Cams tell me again why do you have to pick me up? I have my own car and tatay Jojo is our driver." I asked Cams she is seating on the front seat while Tito Charles is driving. Cams father.
Mama and Papa already left last Saturday and Cams been sleeping over in our house since that day.
"I'm sorry Danie but this is what I need to do and besides tita Seen already told my parents to keep a close eyes on you."
Hays! Mama and Papa becoming an overprotective parents again.
We arrived at school five minutes before the flag raising starts. Ang bagal kasi kumilos ni Camilla!
"Welcome back Miss Dan."
Someone from the eleventh grade greeted me. Hindi ko siya kilala.
"Miss President welcome back!"
Another student that I can't remember the name said to me and it goes on. Hi there, smile to that. It's already tiring. Parang gusto ko na lang umuwi at magpahinga.
I bumped to Mickey and something has change to her.
"Hi Pres. Okay ka na ba?"
Ah! The way she talks. Its sounding more confident.
"Yeah. I'm sorry for worrying you. Ikaw pa ang kailangan magtake over ng stress sa Committee."
"Okay lang. It's very enjoying. I gotta go. May meeting pa kami tungkol sa Senior ball. Bisita ka mamaya Pres. Bye!"
I waved goodbye to her. I think may naging magandang dulot ang pagkawala ko.
Though I kinda missed the stressful Committee. Cams is already in our classroom. May nakalimutan daw siyang assignment. Weird.
Lunch came and wala man lang ako makitang members ng E-Levate. Absent agad sila? Nakalimutan ata nilang basahin ang student handbook. NO EXEMPTION ang school and may rule na three days absent ay may penalty na agad.
Since hindi ako nagugutom ay naglakad lakad muna ako. My feet led me to the music club.
"Again?! Stop being a jerk Lance!" A lady shouted from the inside.
Lance? Is it King?
"Lance chill dude. We need to finish this before mag-i-start ang half period."
I think that is Vaughn Adrian talking.
I heard the drums started playing, siguro si Terry na 'yun.
So this is their hiding place.
Wala si Prince? I don't hear his guitar. I was leaning close to the door para marinig sila properly. King started singing.

It's a bit sad and his voice blended very well to the lonely feeling.

I heard footsteps coming from the inside?
"What the--" He yelled.
We both landed on the floor, I'm on his chest,

Prince at the door behind me or us.
And everyone in the room are staring at us.
"--hell?"
