Suspended
Danarine's Point of view
The classes got suspended today. Sa sobrang lakas ng ulan ay hindi na nakauwi si Cams and Steph. They've called yesterday naman to their houses para magpaalam.
It's still raining oustide and sobrang lamig. I smell the food that nanay Josie's preparing. I think it's fried rice.
"Iha, aga mo nagising? Upo ka dine at maghahain na ako. Tsokolate?" Inilipag ni nanay Josie ang isang mug na may chocolate drink.
My favorite.
I said thanks and sit down.
"Damn! I hate rains." Kuya cursed.
When he entered the kitchen.
"And bathing too kuya." I joked.
Inirapan niya lang ako at dumeretso siya sa room niya. Grumpy Severine is back.
Nagserve na si nanay Josie ng kanyang niluto. Pinipilit niya akong sa dining room kumain but I want to join them.
"Tulog pa ba si Camilla at Stephanie?" Yatay Jojo asked.
I nod and started eating. They never had a child kaya binuhos nila sa pamilya namin ang kanilang oras.
"Danieeeeeee!"
Sigaw ni Camilla habang pababa sa hagdanan.
I almost choke when I saw her face. I don't know how will I react. Steph is behind Cams trying her best not to laugh.
Oh! Another Stephanie "The Pranker" Velasco pranks.
"Bakit hindi mo ako ginising?! I'm la-- Wait?! Bakit hindi ka pa nakaready?"
Naguguluhan niyang tanong.
Okay. I cannot help it. We burst out laughing. Nanay and tatay too. She gives me her death stares.
"STEPHANIE?!" She looks at Steph's very mad.
Last night kasi ay nauna siyang natulog samin. So she don't know na nag announce na kagabi ng class suspension.
"Aaarggh! I hate you both!" She said and walk towards to the sink.
"Kumain na nga kayong mga bata kayo." Kumento ni tatay Jojo.
"Thank you po 'nay and 'tay." Said by Steph.
Naupo na silang dalawa ni Cams and starts eating too.

After we ate ay nagpagpasyahan na lang naming magmovie marathon. We can't go to the mall because of the rain. Wala namang bagyo.
"What should we watch first?" Tanong ni Cams holding the remote.
"I want to watch horror. It's perfect for the weather." Steph suggested while typing on her Ipad. "Oh! Cors, flight was delayed. She will be four hours late." She reminded.
Cams plays the movie that Steph's suggested. I think I've watched the movie before.
Hours later...
"Who suggested to watch that?! I think I cannot sleep tonight." I hysterically said.
"It's not that scary Dan. Mag ayos na tayo para masundo na natin si Corrine." She said while stretching.
"So yabang Steph." I mumbled.
The image of the lady in white dress covered in blood is really scary. Sa bathroom ko na lang ako maliligo while Cams and Steph ay doon sa dalawang guest room.
"Be alert, Dan. She might show up infront of you." Steph said before entering the guest room.
She said it with a creepy voice.
Biglang nagtaasan ang balahibo ko. It's scary!
"STEPPHHHHH!" I scream.
But she just hurriedly lock the door.
When I enter my room. It's quiet and it's dark outside because of the weather.
Ringgggggggg..
Nagulat ako ng biglang tumunog ang phone ko. It was like a scence from the movie earlier. I'm shaking when I get the phone.
"H-Hello?" Natatakot kong sagot sa phone.
"Uh. Hey Dana!" He said.
Is this Ethan? I'm not sure. He promise me that he'll call yesterday but he didn't. Maybe he's tired and rest already when he got home.
"Ethan?"
"Yeah. What ya' up to? It's raining and sobrang boring dito." I really hear the boredom from his voice.
"Getting ready. We're going to the airport."
"Oh-" The line went off.
Weird? Kaya naman pala nalowbat na ang phone ko. Nawalan din ng kuryente ang bahay kaya hindi ko mai-charge agad. Mabuti nalang at may generator ang bahay.
"Danie? The power got off? 'Wag mong sabihin na di ka pa nakakapag ayos?" Cams entered my room. All dolled up.
"Obviously not. After fifteen minutes pa ang on ng generator. I just got a call from Ethan. He's bored daw." I see how her eyes sparkled.
"Really? Now that's the start! I think he's getting attached to you Danie. Parang story sa romance movie ang nangyayari sa inyo." She said.
Yeah. It's like a movie but it's the reality. Maybe he's just really bored and he just want someone to talk to.
"Not all romantic movies have happy endings Cams."
"So bitter! Puntahan na natin si Steph sa room niya at baka hindi na naman makapili ng susuotin yun sa mga pinahiram mong damit!"
Oo nga pala! Decent naman yung mga pinahiram ko.. I think?
"DAANNN! What the heck is this?!" Histerya ni Stephanie sa pinto.
I smiled.
"You look cute!" I said to her.
"Give a pants and a simple shirt! Ayoko nitong dress na 'to!" Naiiritang sabi niya.
I just rolled my eyes. Bagay naman sa kanya. A pink dress really suits her. Kaya lang she always wear pants and plain shirts.
"It's okay Steph. Bagay naman sa'yo. And besides you can still pair a rubber shoes with that.."
Turo ni Camilla. Yep, bagay sa rubber shoes or sneakers ang dress. I won't let this chance go. Ang ganda-ganda ng bestfriend ko!
"Fine. Buti na lang mahal ko kayo.."
Niyakap namin siya ni Cams. Oh! I missed this, mabuti na rin at pauwi na si Corrine. We are going to be complete na! Yey!
