Isabelle's pov-

He never changed.

I pushed Richard away from Leah. I put my coat over her. I glared at Richard. He looked shocked.

"It's not what you saw. Why are you so early? Did not you go to your office? How come you are back so soon? Let's go upstairs and talk." I put on his clothes and tried to come near me. I was so furious that I slapped him hard.

I felt so disgusted by him, that I had touched him even if to slap him, I rubbed my hand on my jeans to erase the touch of his face.

"You bitch. I think you forgot who I am." He took my hand in his and twisted it mercilessly. Leah fell from my hand. He took my hair in his other hand and pulled it painfully.

"I was thinking of continuing this drama a little longer but you are in a hurry to die." He said in my ears.

What does he mean? Is he going to kill me? He won't dare. Right?

The fear was settling in my heart.

"You can not do anything. Everyone knows about you being here. And don't forget, if not the police but Xavier will find you if anything happens to me and Eva." I warned him. What I said is true.

"You and your daughter, you both will be dead before he could even get the hint of what is going on here." He said with an evil laugh.

Then I noticed one thing. It was not the time and place but suddenly Xavier came into my mind.

Richard said Eva is my daughter but Xavier always said she is our Princess.

"You don't know him." I said only that.

He left my arm and hair and pushed me down. "Let's see what he will do now." Then he took out his phone and called someone.

"Hello. It's me. She is with me. You can come and take her tomorrow... No. Not today. Today I have things to do with her." I shivered the way he looked at me. A disgusting feeling started to Crowl up to my bones.

What is he planning to do? Who he was talking to? Why would someone take me?

"Oh, dear. Don't look so confused. I will tell you everything but before that, you should welcome me as a wife does to her husband." He again came near me.

"Don't... Stay away from me." I warned.

"Why, you slut? You can open your legs in from of a man like The boss but you can't do it with your own husband." He shouted and hold my face forcefully.

"I Did nothing of that sort and I will not do it with you too. Leave me." I took several steps back

Leah was still sitting on the ground like a turtle in its shell. I bent down to support Leah to stand.

"Shut up bitch. Let's see how will you say his name after I am done with you. I hope you still cry and beg while getting it. I always loved your cries and pain." He said and took my hand and started to drag me but I hit him hard in between his legs. He left my hand immediately. I ran to Leah and tried to get out of the house.

But he pulled my hair again. I yelped in pain. He put a hand on my mouth.

"Your actions can have reactions on that girl of yours. And you, I paid so much to your greedy parents. Do you want to see your brother roam alone on the streets? You both just follow me if you don't want anything bad to happen to them." He threatened us.

Leah stepped back obediently. I, on the other hand, could not give into him. I kicked him but he dodged it.

He turned me so now I was facing him. He punched my stomach. I bend and fell on the ground.

I saw Eva ran into the room and following her in, came Chase.

Richard laughed.

"What a correct timing. Come here... you." He told Eva.

Eva was looking scared and when she saw me, she started crying.

"Mama..." She shouted and ran to me.

She looked at Richard. "You are a bad person." She said.

Richard gets angry with her. He lifted his hand to hit Eva. I was half stood up to stop him.

But it was Chase who pushed Richard away from Eva. He put Eva behind himself.

Chase is only 12 years old. But he behaves so maturely. He had faced so much at such a young age. That's why he behaves like this.

Richard took out something from his back. He pointed it towards us. We four were standing at the point of his gun.

Chase was still bravely standing in front of Eva. Eva was crying regularly.

I immediately stood in front of both of them.

"Listen, Richard. You will get nothing out of it. Why did you come back? I was living okay without you here. Why are you doing this?" I asked.

"Keep quiet. You don't tell me what to do." He said. He doesn't seem like stopping.

I turned towards Chase.

"Chase, take Eva to somewhere safe and hide there. I will stop all this then will come to find you." I whispered to him. He nodded.

"What the f*ck are you both talking?" Then he kicked me.

I fell back. I saw Eva started crying like crazy. He kicked me again and again and in no time my eyes sight started to get black.

The last thing I saw was Chase running away with Eva. Then everything blackout.

Xavier, I think, I will never be able to see you again. I will regret that.
