Chapter 66

Hindi nya mapigilan ang saya na nadarama nya, ang araw na ito ang matagal na nyang hinihintay.

Looking at them in agony is the best thing she could ever see.

"Shame, she's such a stupid girl. Can't believe that girl came from me."she told herself while looking at the girl who is now about to get killed in front of everyone.

The execution is simple, it would be the guillotine. After the beheading, the bodies will slowly turn into dust. But since she's half faerie, hindi magiging abo yung katawan nya. So they planned to open the portal to the underworld and throw her body in there.

Napatingin si Jackilyn sa tito Note nya and she can see the pain in his eyes.

"Any last words?"the man who's in charge of the execution asked Margaret.

She looked up at them glaring with her bloodshot eyes.

"Ikaw dapat ang nandito Jackilyn, IKAW DAPAT! HAHAHAHA!"

Note looked at her daughter, nasasaktan sya sa nakikita nya. Kung may magagawa lang sya para hindi mahantong sa ganito, pero he can't do anything. His daughter's sin is punishable by death.

Now she's thinking who's gonna be next. Just telling her daughter that she was the chosen one made her crazy. She easily corrupt her heart. Colein can't get the smile off of her face.

Margaret felt that someone's staring at her menacingly, nang mahanap nya kung sino iyon, that person smiled at her with her evil face, it was her mother.

Napayuko sya at hindi nya maintindihan ang sarili nya. I was used.

She started to laugh like crazy.

Napatingin si Jackilyn sa pamilya nya, they're all looking at Margaret painfully. Then she looked at Margaret who is looking somewhere in the crowed then suddenly laughed bitterly. She don't know why but she could feel all of their emotions, is it their energy? She still doesn't know what's happening.

Jace can see her agitation and so he held her hand.

"Wala na ba talagang ibang paraan to prevent this?"tanong nya sa kanila.

"I could travel back in time, or mom and I could do it."sabi ng kuya nya.

"But everything will change."dagdag nito.

She started to grip Jace's hand. Why can't I travel back? If only I could, I'll be able to save everyone, I can still be with Jace.

"There will be a lot of consequences if I go back in time. This I know dahil sinabi mo sa akin dati, and tito Note can attest to what you said."sabi ulit ng kuya nya.

She doesn't remember anything at all. Wala syang maalala na may sinabi sya sa kuya nya about this.

Something doesn't feel right, napaisip sya kung kanino napatingin si Margaret. Why did she looked like that? Her body is itching to do something crazy right now.

Margaret was placed on the guillotine, and so Jackilyn suddenly let go of Jace's hand and immediately flew to where Margaret is. Agad nya itong niyakap and flew away as fast as she could.

Everyone was shocked and speechless dahil sa nangyare. People started to talk so loud, and some panicked since they don't know what's happening.

"We'll look for them."sabi ni Angelo sa mga magulang nya at sa mga tito at tita nya.

His parents nodded and they decided to talk about this inside.

Angelo looked at Nathan and Jace, then they nodded and flew off to look for the two.

Bumalik sa palasyo sina Angel, Sky, Note, Ren at Alex, and they found Ramon, Luna and Lin waiting for them their, pero sinigurado muna ni Note na pakalmahin ang mga taong nanduon.

"Anong nangyare?"tanong ni Luna kay Angel.

"Hindi ko alam! Bigla na lang lumipad si Jacky papunta kay Margaret at tinakas sya."sabi ni Angel.

"Don't judge me pero I felt relieved somehow."dagdag nya which made her a little bit confused of what came out of her mouth.

Sky placed his hand around her waist and said,"I'm actually the same."

Deep inside, Note is actually grateful to what Jackilyn just did. But he's worried, since everyone might look at her as the enemy. They might see her as a betrayer.

They kept looking for the both of them but they could't find them.

"Wala ba kayong something like sibling telepathy or what?"tanong ni Nathan kay Angelo.

"Sina mom and tito lang makakagawa nyan since they're twins!"sagot nya naman with irritation in his voice.

"Jackilyn, nasaan ka ba?"napatanong si Jace with desperation while looking out the window.

She can hear him, his desperate call for her, na hindi nya alam kung bakit. Pero kailangan nya tong gawin.

She placed a barrier outside the cave kung saan sila nakatago ngayon.

"Bakit mo ginawa yun?"biglang tanong ni Margaret sa kanya.

"Hindi ko alam."

Margaret is still powerless since she's still wearing the power restricting cuffs.

"Ha! Don't even think that I'll thank you for what you just did."sabi ni Margaret sa mahinang boses.

"I don't expect any thanks anyway."

Jackilyn just sat beside her without talking.

"Hindi mo ba itatanong sa akin kung bakit ko nagawa yung mga nagawa ko?"tanong ni Margaret after few minutes since it irritates her that Jackilyn is just sitting there without saying anything.

Napatingin sa kanya si Jackilyn, the  answered "No-"

"-It doesn't matter. What matters is that you're not dead."dagdag ni Jackilyn after a long pause.

"Says the person who almost killed me yesterday."Margaret rolled her eyes.

"I wasn't trying to kill you! I was just trying to subdue you!"tumayo na si Jackilyn dahil naiirita sya konti kay Margaret at sa sarili nya.

Hindi nya alam kung bakit nya to ginawa.

Tahimik na naman sila.

"T-thank you... for saving me."biglang sabi na naman ni Margaret sa mahinang boses.

Napatingin ulit si Jackilyn sa kanya at napangiti.

As they were flying earlier, Jackilyn slowly removed the darkness in Margaret's heart. Pero hindi nya pa natanggal ang lahat, may naiwan pang konti dahil tumigil sya when they reached the cave.

"Stop looking at me with that stupid face of yours!"

Tumawa lang si Jackilyn.

"We can stay here as long as you want, and you can tell me everything when you're ready. Hindi kita iiwan."sabi nya kay Margaret.

Margaret was surprised about what she just heard. She tried to ruin her life, and even kill her. Then she started to doubt her, how could she trust her, maybe she's just trying to lower her guard then torture her in the end, leave her in the end, just like what her mother did.

"Don't worry, wala akong ulterior motives. Gusto lang kitang tulungan."dagdag ni Jackilyn.

She still doesn't trust her.

Napabuntong hininga lamang si Jackilyn while looking at the darkness on Margaret's heart.
