"Oh, I've been shaking. I love it when you go crazy, you take all my inhibitions. There's nothing holding me back!" "Hiccup! I'm going to see where Heather is!" Astrid yelled since the music was loud. Hiccup nodded. Astrid walked away and started searching for Heather. "Heather!" Astrid yelled as she found her. Heather was with Eret. "I need to talk to you. Now." Astrid said. "I'm sorry Eret, but I need your girlfriend for a minute." Astrid said. "She's all yours." He said. "What's wrong, Astrid?" Heather asked. Astrid pulled Heather to the bathroom. "Hiccup is joining the army. He's leaving next week and come back after 5 years. I love him and I need him and I can't tell him that because we're just friends and we can't be more than that. If he dies out there, I wouldn't be able to tell him that-" "Woah, Astrid, breathe. Go tell him what you just told me, that you love him and he loves you too. That's what matters." Heather said. Astrid kissed her cheek. "I love you." Astrid said and hugged her. "I love you too." Heather said. "Now go and get your man." She pushed Astrid away. Astrid walked out of the bathroom and searched for Hiccup. She found him sitting at a table with their friends. She walked to them. "Hi guys." She greeted them, but never sat down. "Hi." "Hiccup, can you come with me?" Astrid asked. "Sure." They went outside of the gym. "I love you, Hiccup. I know we agreed to be just friends, but I can't. You once asked me if our breakup was the best thing we've done and I said yes, but it was the worst to me. I don't want us to be perfect. I only want you, it's okay if we fight or have disagreement on something. I need you. I love you more than I hate dresses and high heels and me tonight. And you know how much I hate them. You're going away and I can't be your friend. I want to be more than that. I love you Hayden Haddock, so so so—mhmm." Hiccup kissed her and she kissed him back. They pulled away with a pop, but there foreheads was still touching. "You seriously need to learn how to shut up. I love you too more than I hate wearing formal." Hiccup said. "So that means we're back together?" Astrid asked. "If that's what you want." Hiccup said. "Of course I do, dummy." Astrid said and punched his arm. They kissed again softly, but Astrid pulled back. "Wait a second. Promise me something." Astrid said. "Anything." Hiccup said. "Promise me you wouldn't die out there. I need you alive, Haddock." Astrid said. "I promise." Hiccup said, holding her hand. "Come on, let go inside."
