Hey everyone, hope you are having a good day. Today I will be giving some tips on how to relieve depression, whether it's seasonal(once in awhile) or regular(everyday). Without further ado, let's jump into it. Here are a list of things that may help with dealing with your depression.

1. Take a walk/go for a bike ride/swing/swim etc. You will feel more relaxed after you exercise.

2. Curl up with a book, some tea, a floofy blanket and read.

3. Make popcorn and invite some friends to watch a movie.

4. Call up a friend and chat.

5. Cuddle with a stuffed animal or a pet.

6. Meditate for 30 mins.

7. Have a dance party.

8. Listen to some good music.

9. Write down your feelings in a journal.

10. Do something creative(draw, paint, write some songs etc.)

11. Imagine where you will be in 5 or 10 years, write it down and put somewhere for safe keeping.

If you need help, please don't be afraid to reach out and ask. It's ok to do that in fact, it's the smart thing to do.  Even if it means spending time in the hospital when you would much rather be somewhere else. I totally understand that, even though I have never spent time in the hospital for mental health. If you need to talk or vent, I'm always here just message me.

Below are some hotlines in case you ever need them.
