I got a job at Starbucks as a barista. I have been working there for over 2 months now. The location I was at closed. I am at a new location which is closer to my dad's. I walk down to the Starbucks, and it is a shorter walk than it was to the old location. They just opened last weekend after renovation. I worked my first shift at the new place on Monday. It is bigger now and there is more room behind the counter. There is a spot as well where you can connect with the customers more. I have been enjoying it so far and my coworkers are super kind. I love working there. It is a bit stressful at times and some customers are super rude. I ask for clarification and they get mad at me. I am trying to make sure your drink is made correctly, so you don't complain and say that your drink was not made correctly. It is super annoying. You do not have to be rude to someone who is trying to help make sure that things are made the way you want. I am working tomorrow from 6-11:45 am which is not bad. I am pretty good at making sure to set my alarm so I wake up and have time to get ready and take my meds without rushing.
