*Your P.O.V.*

I was upset, and I knew that. I knew that I was pissed about everything, and I wanted to break down but couldn't. As soon as I walked out of the gym, I spotted Stan who was coming down the hallway, looking for Kyle, no doubt.

As much as I didn't want to think about Kyle or his stupid friends, seeing Stan reminded me that I had to deal with other things, rather than myself, to avoid a bigger repercussion. I needed to talk to Bebe and the rest of the girls about what happened. They're my friends, and I don't want them hating me because of something that he did.

I instantly went back into the classroom, where the girls sat in a circle; all of them looked either worried or confused, except Bebe. Bebe looked like she could rampage a small village at the moment.

"Look, there's (Y/N). She probably knows what's going on," Wendy stated.

"Oh, I'm sure she knows exactly why my boyfriend chased her out of the room in emotional distress," Bebe spat.

I looked at the clock, and we didn't have a lot of time before the bell rang. I knew that I could only explain so much in the next seven minutes.

"Bebe...I come in peace," I slowly said, with my hands in the air. "I just want you to know that I am just as much of a victim- if not worse, considering how much more embarrassing my side it- as you are."

Bebe looked like she was about to say something else, but Wendy stopped her, giving me a look to signal that it was safe for me to continue to speak.

"I was in the dark about everything, too," I repeated. "But please, ask me any questions you have, and I'll do my best to answer it as truthfully as I can."

"What's been going on?" Bebe instantly snapped.

"Well, from what I understand, Kyle has been putting on a superhero costume to come see me. He was doing it behind you back, Bebe...I'm sorry- if I would've known—"

"Wait, so he was just coming to see you, dressed in this ridiculous outfit, and you didn't even know who was wearing it?" Wendy questioned.

I let out an embarrassed laugh. "When I moved here, Kyle actually was dressed in that suit when he saved me from some pervert down main street. He showed up at my house a week later and wouldn't tell me who he was...like I said, if I would've known—"

"Wait, so for weeks, you've just been hooking up with a guy who was dressed as a kite, and you were just trusting that one encounter?" Bebe laughed.

I quickly hushed her. "Like I said, I think this is far more embarrassing for me than it is you!"

Bebe couldn't help but giggle more, and some of the other girls did as well. I joined in with it because it was funny. The entire situation was such a joke, and I was having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that I need to explain myself in such an embarrassing spot.

"Kyle should really be the embarrassed one," Red commented.

"Not only for dressing like a fucking idiot, but also for messing up royally with two of the best girls in this school," Wendy chimed with a smile.

"That's so cheesy," Bebe laughed.

I couldn't help but laugh more with the girls when the final bell rang. We all got up to take our seats, in which I looked to make eye contact with Bebe one more time. She gave me a small, sad smile. I could tell that she was probably hurt, but at least, she wasn't mad at me.
