I was just hanging out with Yokoo and Satou, until Amane Yugi, a friend of Senapi's, grabbed my arm unexpectedly.

"Wha-?! Let me go!!"

"I need to borrow Kou for a bit. He'll be back later!!" Yokoo and Satou just stared at Amane with a confused face and shrugged.

"Sure. We'll be waiting for you Kou!" Satou shouted as Hanako pushed me into he school building.

"Y-Yeah...!!" I shouted back, struggling with Amane.

For a small guy, he was pretty strong.

"What do you want?!" I snapped at him.

"Geez... soooooorry Kou I just wanted advice on Yashiroooo..." He told me in an innocent tone while also activating his puppy dog eyes.

I just groaned.

"Why ask me??"

"Well, you're with Mitsuba, aren't you?"

"W-WHAT?! I-I'm not, we're just friends!"

"Really?? Hmph, it seems like you guys are in a relationship."

"Nnnnope. Just friends."

"Well, are you sure?"

"Of course! I mean... well- erm- hm... m-maybe I-I'm not sure...?" I stopped to think for a second.

"Pffft you're so oblivious Kou~"

"Sh-Shut up!! I don't know how I feel!"

"Well how do you feel when you're with him?"

"I-I mean... he teases me a lot. He's dirty minded, has a girly face, is really annoying and cocky, he's also pretty introverted... but, I mean, that's just his personality. He's also a caring friend when he wants to be, and I-I like his smile quite a bit..."

"What is he to you?" At this point Amane was just invested in seeing where this was going.

As much as I wanted to call him out, I wanted to figure out my feelings for Mitsuba more.

"He's a best friend- m-my best friend- and- well- erm... uuugh...!!" I felt a blush grow on my cheeks.

"Y-You're turning red-" I could tell Amane was holding in his laughter.

"Whatever..." I muttered in response.

I thought for a few seconds more and responded without really thinking.

"Ok... h-he's someone- who, er- makes me smile- yeah- makes me smile a lot- and- I guess uh- I guess I wouldn't mind if he like - I don't know- maybe if we could-" Amane groaned as my thoughts and words were all just falling on each other.
