 All I feel is a powerful, angry, burning red torture slicing through my body. I can't move anything, can't even open my mouth to scream. A few words cut through here and there.

"MELISSA! RACHEL!"

"Ein."

"Ein is here!"

And I hear the screaming. Garroth.

Garroth, don't cry...

I wrench my jaw open to tell Garroth this, and find I can't control it. I can't control what comes out of my mouth. Awful, throat-tearing screams that match Garroth's come flowing from my mouth, and I hear Zane pleading with me, and Aaron's terrified voice shouting my name as I feel someone's arms wrap around me and carry me a distance, the horrible screaming still issuing from me. Someone lays me in a soft bed, but even the gentle tickle of blankets sends fire racing up and down my skin. Garroth has stopped screaming now, and is just groaning loud and hard. I can almost hear him, pleading for it to stop.

Tears burst from my tightly shut eyes. Let it stop. Let it stop. Please, I'll do anything. JUST LET IT STOP!

But It doesn't stop. It seems to eagerly devour my pleas, forcing me to feel every eternal second of pain.

Sometime later, I feel a hand gently press onto my wrist and something cool enters my arm, muffling the pain until I can stand to force my jaw shut again, letting out small whimpers every so often. Garroth still groans, and every one echoes in my body like a knife twisting in my heart.

Garroth, don't cry...

"Will they live?" I dimly hear. I can't identify who it is, and I no longer care. Kill me now... Please...

"I... don't know." Someone else admits.

I hear crying. Shouting. Someone accusing Aaron. For what?

"Their entire bone structure is rearranging itself. There's not much we can do."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sorry. They'll just... have to wait it out."

Wait what out? Why am I this tortured? This is the exact opposite of a Forever Potion. With that, I couldn't feel anything. I was numb, and controlled. I could only watch and listen.

But here, I feel everything.
