I opened my eyes and looked at the ceiling of my hotel room; I sighed then slowly got up.
Napapitlag naman ako ng mag-ring ang bagong cellphone ko, kinuha ko naman iyon and I saw Lloyd's name in it.
A small smile crept into my lips, I swipe the green icon there and place the receiver in my ear.
"What?" I asked.
"I love you." Lloyd said, napahinto naman ako at tinignan ang caller ID para siguraduhing si Lloyd nga ang kausap ko.
"Are you okay?" I asked again, well, hindi lang talaga ako sure kung anong isasagot ko.
"I am." He said, and I heard a sigh from the other line. "I love you." Pagu-ulit nito.
I chuckled at his antics and shakes my head.
"Every single particle inside my body is loving you." He added at natawa naman ako dahil doon.
"Naka-inom ka ba? what's happening to you?"
He chuckled. "Wala naman, miss lang kita." He admitted.
"Magkasama tayo kagabi."
"I know, but that is not enough."
"Ang landi mo."
"Sayo lang naman ako ganto." Banat nito.
And now I can imagine his eyebrows wiggling suggestively.
"Lunch tayo later, wala ako sa hotel ngayon. I have some deals to make." He said.
"Sure, basta libre mo."
"Kung kapalit ba naman ng paglibre ko sayo eh makakasama kita habang buhay why not?" Banat ulit nito.
"Siraulo, sige na at bumalik ka na sa trabaho mo." I said at saka ibinaba ang tawag.
Dumako naman ang tingin ko sa singsing na suot ko.
"Let this ring to be the proof of my love to you Mikhail. Let this be also become a symbol that I will wait for you to marry me and be my wife for real."
Napangiti naman ako ng maalala ang mga salita niyang iyon kagabi. I didn't expect that he has a sweet bone in his body.
But that is not the problem right now.
Nawala naman ang ngiti sa labi ko as I picked the cellphone that is exclusive for our headquarters and organization. May inayos lang ako kaunti doon before I put it on a box together with the note that I wrote.
