Baguio, Tay said. It's the only place that crossed his mind when he was making his moving on plan. He has been in the big city for so long and a more laid back atmosphere will be a great idea of starting over.  He's always been a nature lover and Baguio, having easier access to nearby provinces was perfect. The cold weather is also something he looks forward to.  He filed his resignation, arranged everything that needs to be done, and booked the ticket.

Everything about the starting over is still a blur. For someone who has been in the helping profession but not having a clear plan at all, makes him very uncomfortable. On the other hand, he also felt that learning to loosen up and letting go of control are two things he knew he needed the most at this point. So without a clear plan, he boarded the bus and found himself in a not-so-familiar land.

Welcome home Tay! Off and Gun blurted in unison as they approached Tay at the bus station.

Home? Tay asked. 

Yes Peng, this is going to be your new home right? Off answered him.  Gun here is very excited to tour you around. It isn't your first time here, but you've always loved this place. I am sure you would love to see what's new in town.

I'm not here on a tour. Peng. I need to find work, Tay answered.

You just got here and you're talking about work? Can you at least give yourself a break? Gun was hugging Tay because he missed him so much.

Break? Do you really have to use that term on me Gun? You're rubbing salt to my wound even more, Tay sighed.

That's not what I meant you idiot! Stop being too sensitive okay. Look, we know you're not okay but we both know that you need to take a br... , a rest, a very good rest, Gun was enthusiastic. 

Yes Peng, we know you're going through something and we won't push you too hard to move fast.  You know so well what you need to do.  And we are sure you would really love to just pause for a while and breathe. Off's words were somewhat comforting. 

Yeah, sorry.  I guess I'm just in my "control freak" mode again.  Pausing somewhat makes me feel imobile and I don't know if it's really something right for me now. But yes, I think a good pause will surely help, Tay sighed.

Off and Gun felt relieved hearing it.  Gun was in his excited mode again.  Tay, I'm sure you will love it here.  We can go further up north and enjoy the mountains . Fresh and cold air always produces miracles.

Miracles huh! Let's see about that. That would really be a huge relief if it comes sooner. Tay gave out a smirk. Off gave Tay a nudge, I said stop being negative. Okay, okay, I'll work on it, Tay gave out another sigh.
