Princess - Stefan - Part 2

Your POV

It had been about year since my brief trip to the quiet town of mystic falls, and that small trip has still impacted me a year on. Because I met Stefan.

He didn't know who I was which was refreshing, he treated me like a normal person and actually listened to me. Since I met him I have met around 50 dukes, lords, princes, and none of them compared to him. They only cared about my title and what a possible union could mean for them. 

When I have Stefan my number (of my personal phone teehee)I felt liberated because I had a tiny but of control over my life. We have been texting everyday since we met, phoning and Face-timing. He also  told me that he knew who I was since he saw the news, and i thought it was over but he says he couldn't care less. Which made me appreciate him even more. 

He told me that he was planning to come to London for a week, my father was aware of him and said he could stay in the palace in separate rooms of course.

I was currently in the drawing room having a meeting with my advisor about my schedule when my father came in. I stood up and curtsied, he nodded and I sat back down 

"Nigel cancel the princess' schedule she will be with me for the rest of the day" Nigel nods 

"yes your majesty" he says bowing his head then leaving the room

"but I was supposed to be meeting wit UNICEF today" I say and he sit's down 

"Prince Sebastian and his father are coming into town this week to meet you so we need to prepare" he says 

"but, Stefan is coming tonight?" I say and he grabs my hand

"Yes I know, so I made sure that every night is free apart from the friday where we are having a ball. Were you and the prince will make an appearance together" he says and I nod 

"thank you father" I say and he looks at me 

"Y/n please keep an open mind. I know how princes can be, I am ashamed to say I was like them. But Sebastian is different, he wants to rule his country they way you will rule your country. If not, then I won't pressure you. From what you have said Stefan and what I have seen he seems like a bright young man" he says kissing my hand before leaving the room. I jump up and down, then once I get  it out of my system I slowly make my way to my room to prepare for Stefan's arrival. 

His POV 

Once I landed in London I couldn't stop smiling, I was finally seeing her again. We had a plan so she wouldn't be seen, I had to look for a man holding up a sign that says

I walk over to him and he leads me to the back of the airport to where the private jets are. When I get there there is a blacked out range rover, we get to the car and he opens the door to reveal her sitting there with a huge smile on her face

"hello handsome" she says and i get in

"may i take your bags sir" the driver asks and I nod

"thank you" I hand them over and he closes the door behind me. I turn back to her she kisses me. I am shocked for a second until I join in. We pull apart once the car starts moving 

"hi" I say and she grabs my hand 

"I can't believe your really here, in London" she says excited 

"I know, and I can't believe I will be staying in a palace" I say jokingly and she lightly shoves me

"my father is very excited to meet you" she says and nerves start to kick in. I haven't met a royal in years I hope I can impress him. 

We spend about half an hour taking and catching up and just enjoying each others company and taking everything in. There was a moment of silence before she speaks up

"Um there has been a change of plans slightly, I will only be able to spend time with you in the evening as King and Prince of Luxembourg are coming to meet with my father and be, to hopefully form a union" she pauses and I nod looking down. I always knew that the odds were against us but I had hoped it would be so soon. But she grabs my hands and says 

"My father asked me to have an open mind so I will, I will be with him during the day then you have me all to yourself in the evening apart from friday night where there will be a ball I have to attend. My father also says that if I do not like him that we will be very happy for me to choose my own partner" she says and i look up to her smiling "he is very fond of your already, after every facetime he has appeared in he speaks highly of you" she says and I smile 

"he does?" I ask and she nods, I feel a sense of relief wash over me.

"so Sebastian will have to be a witch for me to turn my head away from you, because my eyes are only on you Stefan" she says and I kiss her.

"do what you have to do, I will wait. And if he does have magical powers then I still want to be your friend Y/n" I say and she smiles.

"you would wait for me?" she says and I nod

"for an eternity" I say and she giggles.

I told her what I was a while back and she didn't even flinch, it turns out that a lot of the royal family are supernatural. The King wasn't bothered ether which was in my favour.

 The week went by rather fast, she would be out during the evenings and i would travel around London. Then we would have a wonderful time in the evenings, she introduced me to her family who were all very nice. When the end of the week came, she had made up her mind 

She chose me

The prince had someone back home as well so they just became friends and allies. 

Present time 

It is now a year later and I have moved to London

We went public to the nation

A few months later we got engaged.

Who knows what the world will throw at us, but whatever it is, we will face together.
