"-to see if anything contradicts itself." Her brows knitted as her brain processed that the vet had interrupted her. The safest option besides saying a — hopefully — hallucinational creature told her some things would be to just ignore him. So, she did.

Olivia didn't know where to start — again, she honestly didn't think she would get this far. Taking a nice breath to steady herself, she crossed her arms. "What exactly are my abilities?"

It was a long shot. A completely broad topic, but she needed answers before she accidentally did something she doesn't know how to control. She did not like surprises and particularly surprises that could end up hurting people.

Deaton sighed as he began, "Remember the last time you came here?" He asked and she nodded in response. "All of that was true, but I did leave out some details because I didn't know what kind of person you were, now I do."

Olivia's full attention was on him, pushing away any thoughts that strayed off topic.

"Your emotions are tied to your abilities, like I had mentioned before, unfortunately, I can't tell you what or how many abilities you may possess." Deaton paused, looking at the girl, making sure he wasn't about to overwhelm her.

"As you have experienced, yes, your kind is known for destruction, but if you can destroy, you can also protect. How? I'm not quite sure. As I told you last time, you can get visions of what's to come. It's all tied to frequencies that travel through time." He tried to make an effort to show the bright side which was barely even there to begin with.

Olivia listened carefully to what he was saying. The one thing that did stand out to her was that she could destroy more than she could protect, the demon's words becoming more and more vivid to her.

She knew most of this though, so what was he not telling her?

"But you already told me this? Is there something else you're not telling me?" She pointed out.

"Sadly so. I want you to listen carefully to me." Suddenly his tone changed sternly, his eye contact making Olivia's skin crawl. "If something can get inside your head...you could cause significant damage. If something or someone took control of your mind...Well, that's for another time...I hope." He said the last few words carefully. He had taken notice of her recent behavior and to say he was worried was an understatement.

"What do you mean by that?" Olivia was left astounded that Deaton had left her on a cliffhanger that might actually solve one of her more serious problems.

Deaton shifted on his feet, a flash of uncertainty on his face. "How are those pills working out for you, Olivia?" he suddenly asked.

Olivia had totally forgotten about the actual reason for her coming here today. She didn't speak for a moment, wondering what words to speak. "Well." she spoke shortly. "Might I ask what they are?" her voice inquired.

The vet had some sort of benevolent expression amongst him and it terrified Olivia. Either she had just said something to confirm something to him, or something was wrong.

The man began to speak. "A rare form of Lichen. It's a sort of tranquilizer for the mind, you can say. It can come in forms of digestible pills, liquid and or...shots." he said, his voice making Olivia uncomfortable. His eyes studied her. "Did you finish them? If so, say the word and I have some more that you can use."

The conversation started to sound like one between a druggy and their plug and Olivia wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing.

She couldn't figure the man out. He says he wants to help, but the only way he does help is by doing cryptic shit and not even giving full answers.
