Chapter 17

I woke up with my phone ringing beside me. Someone's calling, I lazily answered the call and put the phone close to my ear.

"Yo! I'm outside!" The caller said, I immediately put the phone away from my ear.

"What the-" I muttered to myself, that was too loud.

"Hey, Jack! Open up the gates-" I heard him from the phone.

I checked the time and it was still 5:30 AM, I ended the call and went down to let him in.

"Was that today?" I asked myself as I go down the stairs. Also, the doorbell's ringing like crazy I just realized it now that I'm out of my room.

"Jack!" He screamed happily as soon as I open the door, I'm walking towards him now as he is at the gate.

"Why so early? And can you please keep it down, your voice? Our neighbors would go balistic-" I didn't even get to finish what I was saying as he hugged me as soon as I open the gate.

"I missed you." He said as he tightened his hug.

"Well I didn't so." I said jokingly as I hug him back.

"I know you do. Anyways, where's John?" He asked as soon as he let go.

"Sleeping, you know him." I said as I help him with his baggages.

"Typical him, good thing that he has you as an alarm clock." He said laughing.

"Well at least now I don't have to be the only one right?" I said laughing too.

"I guess, it's been a year and you haven't change, maybe a little but not that much." He said as we go inside.

"You know me." I just said, I don't need to explain things as he know what I'm talking about.

"Good thing you're still like that, I mean it's not like it is but you know what I mean." He said.

"Yeah." I said as I set his baggages down.

He went to take a look so I made my way to thw kitchen to get somethings I'll use for cooking later ready.

"James! You're room is upstairs, I'm gonna go back to my room to take an early shower so help yourself." I said as I finished what I'm doing in the kitchen and go up the stairs to my room.

"Ok!" He answered back.

So I'm back here now on my room to get myself cleaned up. James, he's our childhood friend from our province, we three, him, John, and me are bestfriends. We've been together for as long as I know, wherever the other is going, we all go. So he's moving here with us, he's transferring here and would go to school with us 'cause that's just how inseparable we are. Good thing that this house is big enough for us three, he was suppose to go with us a year ago but he's parents took a slight turn so they didn't allow him but I guess he convinced them so here he is. I forgot that today was that day he'll be moving in, been busy with E.W.E.O this past few days so maybe that's why I forgot.

"Ok, let's get ourselves clean up." I said to myself as I went in to take a bath.

So I'm going to read again later about the update in the game, I think I read something about a new thing included, the Spirit thing. I haven't read about it much so I'll get into it later. Also I need to hurry up so I could get breakfast ready. As soon as I finished, I took a plain gray shirt and short to wear and made my way to wake John up after changing.

"Hey, John. Wake up, James' here. Also, you've got some chores to do so get up." I said as I knock on his door, I heard a grunt which I took as an answer and went down to start my thing in the kitchen.

James' things aren't here in the living room anymore so I guess he moved it all upstairs to his room, so maybe he's resting now. I made my way to the kitchen but there he is, James.

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be resting." I told him, he's preparing breakfast.

"It's ok, I have lots of time to rest later and besides I miss you guys." He answered.

"Oh well, we miss you too." I said.

"Where's John?" He asked.

"I already told him to go down here, guess I should tell him again?" I said as I laugh with that thought.

"No need to." John said yawning as he rubs his eyes.

"John!" James said with delight, he went to John to give him a hug.

"Hi James, please keep it down, you're too loud." John said as he lazily hugged James back.

I took the spatula from James so he could sit and have a rest. I continued frying the eggs and bacons, I also made a pancake mixture to make pancakes for the three of us.

"Pancakes." Both of them said with drools running down their mouths.

"I miss your Pancakes Jack." James said.

"You don't miss the pancakes, it's the syrup you missed." John said as he punch James weakly on the shoulder.

"The syrups are inside the refrigirator." I said as I place the foods on table.

We started with a prayer, offer our thanks to God and asked to bless us three as we start our lives here together. After that both of them started eating. I should've prepared a little bit more, I forgot that this two are pigs when it comes to food.

"Please take it easy, we won't have enough for the three of us if you two keep eating at that phase." I said jokingly.

"Oh come on, you can just cook more." John said as he devour the food on his plate.

"Yeah, he's right and please Jack, eat a lot. Gain some weight, you're thinner now than the last time I saw you." James said as he devour his food just like how John does.

"Ok, ok. I will." I said as I started eating too.

"Anyways, do you guys play E.W.E.O.?" James asked.

"I thought you'd never ask." John answered with his eyes sparkling as if to say 'Yes and we're hella strong'.
