SAGE

The girl suddenly let out a cry. "Pakiramdam ko po nadedepress na ako. Parang gusto ko na pong magpakamatay, Doc."

Pinunasan ng babae ang kanyang luha. I looked at her trying to be concerned.

"Ilang araw ka na bang hindi kumakain?" Tanong ko sa kanya. She gave me sad look.

"Uh, mga dalawang linggo na po." Aniya. I looked at her shocked.

"What? Two weeks? Then I can't give you any drugs for depression right now. I'll contact the hospital so you could be treated there tapos bumalik ka dito!" I said.

The girl stand up at padabog na hinampas ang lamesa.

I rolled my eyes from what she said. "I told you, counseling isn't my specialization because I am a future Psychiatrist. I help patients by giving them medicinal care! Okay?"

Macky sighed. Padabog siyang naupo sa kanyang upuan. We're now here in my study room in my condo.

"Bakit?

I smriked from what she said. "Well, you're right, but that's because hindi nga namin specialization and counseling! Sa mga psychologist iyon!" I said.

I raised my brow from what she said. "Then how can I talk to a patient who's not been eating for two weeks? That's why she needs to see a Physician so she can have her check up and eat first."

"Bakit? Bawal mo ba siya pakainin habang kinacounseling mo siya?" Aniya.

I am tired already. I'll just watch some movies from now." I said and rise from my seat.

"Huh? Ayaw mo na agad?" Takang tanong ni Macky. "Paano ka makakapasa sa masteral mo niyan?" I didn't mind her and went to the kitchen.

I've been here in my condo again. It's been a year since my Mom died and Tito Dos let me live in my own now. Binibisita ko rin naman siya when he's here in Manila but he's now taking a vacation in Aurora.

I opened the refrigerator and grabbed something to drink. Tumungo naman ako sa living room. Macky is now seating on my sofa. She's been my companion for the last months. Winston is now too busy in his masteral too. We respect each other's time at nagkikita lang kaming tatlo kapag free kaming lahat.

"Why aren't you checking the construction of your restaurant?" I asked Macky. Kasulukuyan siyang nagpapatayo ng sarili niyang restaurant. She's been working hard for the past years for that dream of her and now she's close to reaching it.

"Eh, ayoko pumunta doon! Bahala sila." She said quite sad. I frowned from her reaction and turned the TV on.

"Did you fight with that Atchitect again?" I asked. She always complains about the atchitect who designed her restaurant. Paminsan kasi ay dumadalaw sa construction and they will always argue if Macky's there too.
