---------------------------------

Everyone has two sides.
A light to a dark,
A hero to a villain,
The Yin to the Yang.

For the most part they live in harmony,
only becoming slightly out of balance
when it's a test of moral compass.

One wrong move can turn the tides.
Whether it be from a person or event that the two can't circumvent,
it will disrupt the mind's harmony.

This then causes an internal war,
a heated battle to keep the mind sane...
More often than not,
ending in victory.

What if it doesn't?
What if it ends in loss?..

Your mind becomes twisted.
Your definition of justice has changed.
Your thoughts are like the business end of a bayonet.
Your moral compass is deranged.
And to some, you're a living game of roulette.

For some the hero comes
and takes back it's throne at the front of the mind.

But for others, another war begins.
It can be short and solved with time
or...
It can become a stalemate and drag on for who knows how long.

You become a powder keg above a flame...
A ticking time bomb
An explosion of emotions and insanity waiting to happen...

More often than not these wars are ended with the help of others and time.

But for others it doesn't work.
They've reached out for help and let time try to heal the wound.
But the cut is just too deep to be healed by itself...

So the war inside you drags on.

Your mind becomes even more twisted.
Your definition of justice is not even justice.
Thoughts are worse than a business end of a bayonet.
Moral compass is practically nonexistent.
People start to question your sanity and well being.

You're response is always the same.
"I'm fine."

But behind those eyes is a war
that's going no where.
And it's slowly killing you from the inside.

You want it to stop,
but for all you know your villain,
your darkness
could forever be at the front of your mind.
The hero only rarely showing their face.

If the war doesn't get resolved soon...
your hero will join your villain.

And that my friends
Is the point of no return
