This contains spoilers for LOZ BOTW. U have been warned. ALSO I must give credit to a wonderful author by the name of the2tailedfoxy for inspiration. Go read their RevalixReader book and one shots, they are 10/10, I would DEFINITELY read the books again. Im also gonna be writing your pov in a 1st person, instead of 2nd person for a change. Anyway, on to the one shot.

~Your POV~

I'm standing in the throne room (or sanctum, whatever you wanna call it) waiting to be officially called a champion. Zelda gave me a bright blue bell sleeve, she said it's my champion's garment with the design of my Divine Beast on it. All the others got one as well. I pilot Divine Beast Vah Saria, shes modeled after a buck and named after the ancient Sage of the Forest. I've met the other champions Mipha, Daruk, Link, Urbosa and Revali. Mipha is the sweetest, most wholesome bean I've ever met. Daruk looks intimidating on the outside, but on the inside, he's a teddy bear. He even invited me to roast marshmallows by Death Mountain a few days ago. Urbosa is a badass but a prankster as well. Link is likeable, if I need to talk anyone and can't find Zelda, I'll try to find Link. Then we have Revali, me and him have one thing in common, we're skilled with a bow. I'm between Link and Urbosa trying to calm my nerves when the trumpets sound announcing the King's arrival. I make sure the scar over my eye is hidden and watch him ascend the steps to his throne.

"Welcome warriors." He says, his voice booming, "I'd like to thank you for joining me here today, and for your bravery in accepting this...fateful task. I officially appoint you Hyrule's Champions and bestow upon you this sacred garb." 

Hell yea. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS AND WE'LL KEEP ON FIGHTING TILL THE END!!!!

"That blue is a symbol of the Royal Family," the King continues, "one that has been passed down for countless generations. Those garments you know where were all crafted by my daughter, Zelda. Zelda, I trust you with the task only a daughter of the royal family can fulfill. Lead our Champions, Princess. And together, protect our kingdom from the threat of Calamity Ganon."

The fireworks go off and we all head outside to a gazebo in the garden. I hear Daruk saying something to Link but I'm too interested in this Sheikah Slate. Watch as Revali takes it out of Zelda's hands and asks a question, I was lost in thought but snapped back to reality.

"There are more uses for it than we originally thought. Sadly, we've yet to decipher all of it's secrets." the Princess says. Revali puts the slate in Mipha's hands.

"The princess showed me something strange recently. Somehow it can create true-to-life images." Urbosa says leaning over Mipha. Urbosa is tall as fuck, she's like 2 feet taller than me. A small gust of wind blows by and I see Revali's scarf out of the corner of my eye. It flips around and the design of Meadow is facing towards him. My OCD kicks in and I fix the scarf.

"What are doing?" Revali asks.

"The design wasn't facing the right way and my OCD kicked in so I fixed it." I say.

"Oh thank you." He says.

"Small things like that can tarnish a person's image."

"Why do people care so much about the details, it's just..." he trailed of trying to find the right word.

"Asinine?" I ask completing his sentence.

"Yes. Very much so. I don't know why that wouldn't come to me."

"Everyone lets take a photo with the sheikah slate." Zelda says. Purah leads us over to field. I stand next to Zelda with Revali on my right and Urbosa behind me. Purah tells Daruk to crouch down and that Revali needs to get closer to the group. Ok, getting a little too claustrophobic. I scrunch my shoulders up, put a hand on my other arm, tilt my head a little, and give a small smile to make it look like I'm not so tense. Then I make sure the design of my divine beast is facing the right way and visible. Purah tells Mipha to relax.
