"Astrid!" Hiccup waved through the crowd
Astrid smiled in his direction as she ran quicker through the crowd "Hiccup!"
She set her bags down and hugged Hiccup as they met in the middle. They swayed in each other's arms for a good while.
"I missed you so much." Hiccup kept his arms around Astrid
Astrid kept her arms around Hiccup, head leaned against his chest "I missed you too."

"What are we doing here?" Astrid looked around at where Hiccup and herself were
"This is where we had our first date. Remember?" Hiccup held Astrid's hand in his
"Of course I do. But I'm asking why we are back."
"Because I thought we would wanna stat gaze?" Hiccup pointed up and the ocean of stars in the sky
"Sounds amazing." Astrid smiled

Hiccup pulled away from the kiss. Him and Astrid laid on the grass, hand in hand, eyes watching the stars. "I love you." Hiccup blurted
Hiccup started panicking at the silence, Astrid moved closer to him and leaned her head against his "I love you too."

"Why do you have to leave?" Astrid asked as the trunk of the car was slammed shut "Why can't you stay here?"
"Because of my dad's job Astrid. You know if I had the power I would stay." Hiccup had his arms around Astrid's waist
"I know but we both know how most long-distance relationships end and I don't want that."
"That won't be us, Ast. I promise. Okay? We can face time every weekend and call and text whenever okay?"
"Okay. It's just- I don't wanna have to do this."
"I don't either. Everything is going to be fine. I love you."
"I love you too." Astrid repeated as they kissed

Astrid held her books in her arms, the crowded hallway catching her eye "Hey, why are there so many people over there?" She turned to Heather
"Oh, there are new kids." Heather paused by her friend
"New kids?" Astrid looked over at the crowd
"Some girls say one of them is super hot but a total dork. And the guys say the other, a girl, was really cute and gorgeous. I was going to go say hi."
"Heather you have a boyfriend." Astrid started walking with Heather
Heather groaned "Ast, when I say 'I'm going to say hi' I mean that I am literally going to say hi."
"Well, let's see who these kids are." Astrid assured
"It'll be fun having new people. Give it a month and there will be new school drama. Which is what I need, it's been a bit bland lately."
Standing above the crowd, Hiccup pushed his way through the people bombarding him with questions, and half-assed started conversations.
Astrid took a second to register who the person was "Hiccup?!"
Hiccup turned to the sound of his name, eyes lighting up "Astrid!" He made his way through the crowd
"Hiccup wait!" Hope called after him
Astrid dropped her books by Heather's feet and ran toward her boyfriend. Hiccup met her in the middle, he picked her up and spun her around before setting her back down and kissing her briefly before pulling her into a hug. Everyone in the hall started talking. Some gasps emerged when they kissed. The hallway was buzzing with what was going on.
"When did you get here?! I thought you were still at Berserker High." Astrid her arms around Hiccup's chest, hands resting on the center of his back
Hiccup pulled away "I couldn't think of spending another day long-distance so I convinced my parents to transfer me and my sister. I moved here last week." Hiccup explained
"Is that why you didn't face time me? And why you turned your location off?" Astrid asked
"I had to surprise you and that's the only way I thought. I am so sorry for not face timing you and not letting you know where I was but I had to do it. I am so sorry Astrid." Hiccup apologized
Astrid smiled, hugging Hiccup again "You are one hundred percent forgiven Hiccup."
"I missed you so much."
"I missed you too."
"I love you." Hiccup smiled at having Astrid in his arms
"I love you too."
"Okay, wait, how long have you been dating?" Hope finally pushed through the crowd
"About two years." Hiccup kept and arm around Astrid's waist
"Two years?!" Heather and Hope exclaimed
"How did we not know?" Heather asked
"Because we were doing long distance and we wanted to make sure it lasted." Astrid examined
Hope turned to Heather "Hi, I'm Hope, Hiccup's sister." Hope introduced
"Heather. Astrid's best friend." Heather introduced as well
"Do you wanna grab some coffee and rant over these two not telling us about their relationship?" Hope offered
"Yes." Heather and Hope waved behind them as the walked away
"So, what are your classes?" Astrid asked Hiccup

"I cannot BELIEVE that you are here." Astrid leaned her head on Hiccup's shoulder as they walked out of school hand in hand
"And I can't believe I'm standing here, holding my girlfriend's hand after a year and a half apart." Hiccup added
Astrid turned her head to hide her blush "So, what do you wanna do now?"
"Anything you wanna do. I am here for you forever."
"Forever huh? You know that Heather is going to get you as a boyfriend."
"And Hope is gonna wanna make sure you aren't going to tear me apart." Hiccup added
"Why not let's go maybe watch a movie or something?"
"Whatever you want M'lady."

"You really didn't have to drive me to my house. I could've walked." Astrid explained as she and Hiccup walked up her steps
"I wanted to because I can't even wrap my head around you being here in front of me." Hiccup stopped by the door
"You still know I could've done that."
"But I like spending time with you. I've had to much time away." Hiccup whined
"And I missed seeing you too. But I can see you tomorrow okay?"
"Okay." Hiccup smiled, kissing Astrid one last time
