Feet above the elevated concrete bar
Leaning to leap
Inhaling to the very last of the lungs extent
Then a sigh after a brief exhale

I now know the wind
And how it must have blew
When the silly things took the best of you
The chill on the cheek as the cold salt melted more
The thought that you won't be there to see
The day that would come tomorrow.

The ad seems to promise a beautiful future
Displaying on the screen at a height on the opposite building
I'm staring at it now .
Were you too ??

You weren't without fear.
I can tell
Or maybe I'm far weaker
But as I put one foot forward
Like a chain fountain
The remaining vessel consented to follow
As my heart was already hollow...
