Fallen

I try to pull apart the string
That connects you to the brink of my dream
Should have known of how it never works
The list is long but paper short

You tame me as my eyelids close
My wrist is hurt but no marks are there
The cupid forces an arrow and grins
The grey in front makes blue panic and sink

The fall is heard in heaven's gate
But satan took notice prior
The earth cracks up to his finger's flicker
I pierce my way through the real rock bottom

From there it's only your face growing distant
The voice of someone, I hear call my name
I travel to the unknown to meet you again
Before I stumble awake to the familiar strangeness ....
