Gemma's P.O.V
I walk across the Greene's lawn towards the RV, trying to hide away from the prying eyes of the group. As I enter, I notice in the corner of the van is the guitar that Dale found for Glenn before we came. It's times like these that I missed music and would want to express my feelings through song. I walk over and pick up the guitar.

I walk out of the RV and sling the guitar over my back and climb the ladder to the roof. I figured while they were making the final decision over Randal's fate, I'd take watch and maybe play some music. I sit down in the deck chair and begin to fiddle with strings until it's tuned properly. I run through songs in my head until the perfect one comes to mind, and I begin to sing.

Wake up in a new day but it don't feel that new
Same faces around me with the same point of view
Everything is perfect, everything's ok
Just swallow the lies and let your emotions fade
But my heart won't be quiet, I feel a change

No more black and white
This life's too colorful, beautiful
Don't know what lies ahead but

I'm ready now, it's time (gotta go, gotta get out of this town)
And leave my fear behind (nothing left over here can't stick around)
My dreams are loud and my heart's wide awake
And all I know is I'm not meant to be silent

Wake up to a new voice telling me where to go
It sounds like I got no choice but to keep on this road
Got my own opinion, my own words to say
Got my own visions, so I know I can't stay
There's no looking back now, I feel a change

I'm ready now, it's time (gotta go, gotta get out of this town)
And leave my fear behind (nothing left over here can't stick around)
My dreams are loud and my heart's wide awake
And all I know is I'm not meant to be silent

No more black and white
This life's too colorful, beautiful
Don't know what lies ahead but

I'm ready now, it's time
And leave my fear behind
My dreams are loud and my heart's wide awake
And all I know is I'm not meant to be silent

I'm letting go it's time yeah (gotta go, gotta get out of this town)
And leave my fear behind me (nothing left over here can't stick around)
I'm ready now it's time yeah (gotta go, gotta get of this town)
And leave my fear behind me (nothing left over here can't stick around)

My dreams are loud and my heart's wide awake
And all I know is I'm not meant to be silent

I finish playing the chords of the song, my eyes are closed taking in the lyrics. I open my eyes and look over the fields to see its empty. I wipe my eyes and stand up to go back down, when I turn I see someone standing at the end of the RV.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you." He mumbles, his intense Georgian blue eyes focused on me.

I blush under his stare and look down, "How long have you been there?"

"We finished the discussion and I came out to check on you... I didn't know you could sing." He says.

I chuckle, "I can't really, but I like to play guitar and just muck around with vocals."

I look up and meet his intense stare, looking into his eyes for a long time. Once I realise that I'm just staring I clear my throat and look away.

"So what's the verdict?" I ask.
