The stranger's rant about his home left me grinning ear to ear. The atmosphere felt even calmer just talking to him about what we love that I almost forgotten that he was a stranger. He didn't felt like a stranger, it felt like talking to an old friend I never remembered. "It sounds like a wonderful place to live in."

"It is..." The stranger muttered. He turned his at me and beamed at me excitedly. "Say...Why don't you come join me!"

That's when the peaceful atmosphere dropped, and the fuzziness I felt turned into a tightening grip in my chest. "W-Wha-"

"It's a really beautiful place Impulse! I could take you a tour there, I can introduce you to all of my friends, and we can both gaze at the warm colorful sky, or we ca-"
"Wait Wait slow down p-please?!" I cried out! The stranger paused, and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, got a bit ahead with myself again," he chuckled, reverting back to his calm demeanor.

"I know that I am a stranger to you Impulse, but you just have to trust me on this. I have proof that this place is real, that I'm not lying when I say that it's a fantastic place," He kept his arms around his back and waited patiently for my respond.

Realization hit me, and I finally knew what was going on. Why I suddenly teleported to the shopping district, why this man appeared, I didn't want to believe it at first, but....

"What about the hermits?" I mumbled softly.

The stranger's smile saddened, "They're your friends Impulse. One day, they'll understand why."

I continuously shook my head, fighting the urge to breakdown before I even proved a point. "No, I'm not ready yet. I don't want to leave. I don't want to l-eave he hermits-" my voice cracked before I could finish me sentence. I took a few steady breaths, keeping myself cool and composed. The stranger  patted my head softly, and that's when I was too afraid to finish my sentence, if it meant not opening the floodgates.

"I see. That's a normal feeling Impulse, half of the people that I met felt that before. Myself included." He explained.

I was taken back by that last sentence, and was shock. I did not mutter a single word, but I returned the shoulder pat and shared the stranger the same considerate look he gave me before. The stranger just chuckled and started walking to the direction of the sea.

He looked back again and waved his hand up high. He yelled, "I'll see you next time when your ready! Then I can really show you my home!"

And that's when the peaceful atmosphere came back.

"Imp-...up?!"

"—-ulse, —ok—

"I-Impulse?!

My eyes opened in an instant, and I hastily jumped up from the stone ground. I synchronized scream of two grown men ringed through my already aching head as I hesitantly tried to support my weight with two arms resting behind my back.

I took notice of the two terrified boomers staring at me. They're expressions were mixed of worry, relief, and annoyance. I think the annoyance part was from me accidentally scaring them.

"IMPULSE DON'T YOU DARE SCARE US LIKE THAT AGAIN!!"

"Sorry, sorry. I got a bit startled when I woke up." I chuckled, but winced from the sudden pain in my bum when I tried to stand up. Tango gave me a threatening glare not to move, and I followed.

"Aside from that! Why did you go near the contraption?! You could've exploded!" Bdubs exclaimed angrily. But soon enough his temper slowly cooled down, "You didn't respawn, instead you laid unconscious on the ground. Me and Tango tried waking you but," He paused...

"We thought you died permanently," Tango finally spoke up. Bdubs nodded hesitantly, and looked down to try and hide his pitiful expression. Tango followed pursuit, and now both of them seemed to be avoiding my gaze. My heart tightened just by seeing the two worried boomers, I felt responsible for making them worry this much that it made me sad just thinking about how they reacted after I fell.

"Wait, where's the man?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"The man, I saw a man, in the shopping . He had a black coat and...and..."

"Impulse, there wasn't a man. Maybe it was just a dream?" Bdubs suggested. "And I should know, I have a lot of weird dreams when I sleep."

"Everyone has weird dreams, silly," Tango scoffed, earning a quiet giggle from the boomer.

"No. It didn't feel like a dream, really. He gave off this peaceful vibe that could put anyone at ease. He seemed like the calm and mature type, but he would become an excited child when he talks about his home and friends. He was..." I paused again.

The two boomers' expressions grew more worried the longer I talked about this strange man. Honestly I already scared them enough as it is, so I shamefully looked to my hands and bowed my head. "Nevermind. I'm sorry for making you worry.." I muttered.

"No no Impulse, just... its okay," Tango pulled me to a soft, warm hug, gripping his arms around me lightly. Bdubs joined in, but just rested his arms around me and Tango's necks. He wasn't exactly hugging us, but his comfort was enough. I almost felt myself melt into their touch that I almost forgotten the backstabbing pain near my lower half.

"Just out of curiosity, who was this strange man in your dream?" Bdubs asked.

"Hmmmm.. And angel maybe?"
