America was siting In his bedroom, just staring up at the ceiling. He wondered whether or not he should go to this weeks meeting. Its not like he had anything better to do, but he still didnt wanna go.
He closed his eyes and started to doze off. As he did, he started to feel strange, really strange. He opened his eyes and found himself in a hallway. The only lighting in this hallway came from down the hall. It was bright but dim at the same time.
"Where the fuck-" he said to himself. As he tried to get up.
America's wobbled abit as he stood up. He looked around the hallway. It was black. There were no windows, and the only door he could see was down the hall.
He slowly made his way towards the door. As he got closer he heard the sound of ringing. The ringing got louder as he continued closer, and closer to the door. He reached out his hand, only to notice he was shaking.
"But why? Why am I so fearful all of the sudden? Its just a door..right?"
He thought to himself as he grasped the knob. He turned it, and the moment he did, the ringing stopped. He opened the door and gazed inside the room. Horror painted on his face as the bodies of his family and friends lay there on the ground. And in the middle of everything, stood a figure dressed in a black suit. The figure turned around to meet America's gaze.
"Hello, Ame. Long time no see" The figure said, grinning from ear to ear.
"C-confederate?...no...y-you..."
"Wake up Ame...its time..I SAID WAKE UP"
Suddenly America snapped wake. He sat up and started breathing heavily. He looked to right of him and saw Washington. The state had a sympathetic look on his face.
"Did you have another bad dream?" He asked, hugging Ame.
"Y-yah...but i'm fine..its cool" America returned his hug and patted Washington's back. "So uh...what were you waking me up for?" He asked, realising him.
"Well, you're now-" Washington checked his watch. "11 minutes late for the nations meeting..if you hurry..you can make it there in about...I dont know..15 minutes?"
"Shit!" He said. America got up and grabbed his sunglasses.
"That's why I told you not to doze off before it's time to leave" Washington rolled his eyes.
"Dont give me that! Just call the-"
"The car is already outside and waiting for you" Washington interjected. "Have a good meeting sir, I'll keep things a float while you're gone" Washington said, pushing America out the door and closing it.
