Chapter 4:

“Erase all bad memories, hold my hand and smile.”

I lift my face from the laptop, realising I fell asleep on it, and now there is drool everywhere on the keyboard. I look up at the screen and see Namjoon dancing to “Baepsae”, in his blue overalls. Great thing to wake up to-

WAIT!

What time is it?!

7:59

Oh, I’m fine…

WHAT DAY IS IT?

MONDAY

GOD, I’M LATE!!

I jump off the chair nearly slipping and breaking my back. I literally do a 360° , and run into the bathroom and slip and land on my back side.

Not Today.

I look back at my laptop screen and “Not Today” starts playing. WTH?!

I quickly get changed in like 2 minutes flat, whizzing out the bathroom, and look at my laptop screen.

8:03

Well, that was quick. I grab my BTS backpack, whizzing downstairs, putting on my shoes, and grabbing my phone from the table, with flour and some next shit all over it.

DISGUSTING.

Mental note- never cook or bake with your phone next to you.

I ran out the front door, realising I forgot my headphones. I swear to God, can this day get any worse?! Of course it does. While walking up the stairs I trip on the third step. Funsiess. I scramble up running into my room, grabbing the headphones off the bed I never slept on, and rushing into the living room, where my mom is just eyeing me.

On the TV some random k-drama is playing. Of course.

“MOM! I need to get to school!”

“Let this episode finish!”

“What?! It’s like 30 minutes long, and school starts at that time!”

“Half of it then!”

“NO!”

“5 minutes! I’m your mom, I'll tell you what to do!”

“But-”

“No, buts now sit down, and watch it with me.”

I swear if I’m late I’m going to-

IS SHE WATCHING THE DRAMA WE WERE BOTH SUPPOSED TO BE WATCHING?!

“MOM!!!!”

“CHILD!!!!”

“WHY HAVE YOU SKIPPED AHEAD?!”

“Because you never come watch with me, not my fault.”

I roll my eyes, and walk towards the TV and turn it off.

“Right, we are leaving now.”

“But-”

“It’s been 5 minutes, not my fault you weren’t concentrating.”

“Fine, let’s go.”

I walk out the front door, not bothering to hold it open for my mom. Eh, oh well. She has hands. I get into the passenger's seat and put my headphones on, forgetting to put the seat belt, just because I can’t be asked. “Serendipity” starts to play, but an empty arena version. I wish I could go to a concert, but no people are selfish. Little-.

My phone pings suddenly, and it’s the annoying brat Keira.
