a scream escape my lips, i jump and aggressively remove the hand to defend myself.
❝ 'wag! 'wag niyo po akong sasaktan!❞
my voice is not that loud but it's loud enough for the person next me to hear.
i feel that the person will touch me again, so i was about to hit when . . .
❝ ano ka bang bata ka, nandito ako para tulungan ka! kung anu-ano kasi iniisip mo eh. hay kabataan nga naman ngayon! mga malilisyoso!❞ i heard a croaky female voice shouts from behind.
i face her and there i saw a not-so-tall old woman looking at me with a stick broom on her right hand and her left hand on her waist.
i slightly bow my head. ❝ p-pasensya na po, akala ko po kasi . . .❞
she shoves her hand and asks, ❝ bakit nandito ka pa e gabi na? naliligaw ka ba?❞
i slightly nod and my eyes land on my feet. ❝ ba't hindi mo tawagin magulang mo?❞
❝ deadbatt na po phone ko.❞
she touches her chin and nods. then she looks at me and smiles cheaply. ❝ sige, ihahatid na lang kita sa toda ng mga kakilala ko. mababait naman 'yong mga 'yon.❞
she turns her back. ❝ dapat nag-iingat ka na sa panahon ngayon. hindi mo alam kung may mangyayari sa'yong masama, lalo na 'pag nag-iisa ka.❞
i nod and she start walking so i follow her.
