as i was focused on reading the book, i heard some giggling voices near me. i just ignored them and put my whole attention at what i'm reading.
i'm sure those are just the voice of my school mates having fun with each other.
i held the thin page of the book and was about to flip it to the next page when something hit me . . .
and then, all i know is i'm drenched in water . . . stinking water. and not just me, my book is also wet, the words imprinted on each page are unreadable.
i pressed my lips together and squinted my eyes at the book. my grip on the book tighten making some pages crumple.
my eyes squinted at the person who did it. ❝ oh bakit,❞ she said annoyingly, she laughed, ❝ galit ka na niyan?❞
i stood and glared at her. ❝ ano bang problema mo? bakit mo ko binasa?❞
❝ bakit-❞ she looked at me from head to toe- ❝ hindi ka umalis?❞
i was about to talk back when she left me with her friends.looks like i'm going to home wet and dirty.
