as they finished singing the birthday song for me, i blew the candle in front of me. i'm finally ten years old! it's been awhile since i wanted to be at this age.
after blowing my birthday candle, my mom approached me and pat my shoulder. ❝ ayan, ten years old ka na! excited ka na ba para sa first choice na pagpipilian mo?❞
i smiled and nodded as a response at her question. she smiled back let go of me.
at the age of ten, we will be making decisions by choosing between two choices that will appear above our head. it's actually something that most people are waiting for, including me.
i watched them as they were staring at me, waiting for me to do it.
a sigh escaped my mouth as i closed my eyes to relax myself. my hearts beating fast because of excitement.
as i opened my eyes, two phrases appeared above my head.
