Chapter 44

"WAAAAAAHH!!" I cried through the darkness.

It was cold and dark. I can't see anything, I feel scared. Only one name keep echoing in my head.

I suddenly heard a very familiar voice coming towards me. I feel so relieved as I saw a 5 year old raven head, panting, looking so worried.

"Lu!!!" I sobbed, running towards him.

He hugged back, caressing the back of my head.

"I-I was so s-s-scared!!" I muffled through his chest.

He hugged me tighter. I feel so warm and safe as he held me by his arms. I feel home..

I keep crying and crying until I calmed down. The lights suddenly lit up, the electricity is back.

"Are you okay?" He asked, holding both of my shoulders checking me.

"Hmm.." I nodded, sniffling.

He sighed in relief, caressing my face. "Thank goodness..."

I tugged his sleeve. "Thank you... for coming here..."

"Of course!" He grinned. "Every time you are in trouble, just remember me or just my name..."

He held my hand, clasping it together. "And I'll be there to save you."

"P-Promise?" I lift up a pinky.

He followed. Our pinkys wrapped up together. "Promise.."

I fluttered my eyes open as the light in above me flashes through my eyes. A very unfamiliar ceiling above me, I slowly sat up and found myself in a... hospital?? I felt a warm hand wrapped around mine.

Looking down I saw Lucas sleeping, holding my hand.

My eyes softened, staring down as he sleep peacefully. Kinda worried that he sleep like that, his back must've hurt.

I leaned in closer to get a better view of him, smiling like an idiot. Softly, I brushed his bangs off his forehead.

"Every time you are in trouble, just remember me or just my name..."

I remember.

"And I'll be there to save you."

As I keep admiring his handsome face, he woke up. Eyes blinking open then stop as our eyes met.

"Hi.." I breathed.

"A-Atha—... Sia..."

His eyes became glossy as he stared at me from head to my waist.

"What are you tearing up for?" I asked, scoffing.

He didn't answer, instead he hugged me. V-Very tightly, I m-might add..

"C-Can't breath..." I muttered, patting his back.

He immediately let go then held my face, examining me. He smiled widely.

"Thank goodness.." He sniffled. "I-I thought I lost you..."

I scoffed. "Why would I?"

"You were out in a month.." He pouted.
