"you what?" you stared at your friend hana who was giving you the gummy smile that she always does.

"I set you up on a blind date!" she squeaked and held your hand.

"hana, I can't even talk to you without stuttering. how do you expect me to be able to talk to some random person? plus blind dates could get really dangerous!" hana just laughs at you and squeezes your hand.

"don't worry! you're in good hands. I know him! he's very trustworthy and very adorable" she reassures you.

"why don't you date him?" you asked, she shakes her head.

"uh, he's not really my type. plus you two would be perfect for each other. you're both shy and awkward but once someone gets to know you, you're just a chaotic baby inside" hana says.

"hana, I really love it that you set me up on a blind date but I don't really want to-"

"don't worry unnie! I promise that you'll have a great night" hana flashes another smile.

"plus, you're always cooped up in your apartment all the time. it's a good time to get out every once a while" you groan.

"you used to be like that too hana" she rolls her eyes.

"it was just a phase" she says, you laugh.

"you still do it"

"are you ready?" hana opened up your bedroom door.

"uh, sure" you quickly grabbed your bag.

"alright let's go!" hana cheers as runs out of your bedroom. you couldn't help but just laugh at her. the two of you head out of the house, she ends up being the one who drives while you sit in the passenger seat.

"wahh, im so excited for you! it's been so long since you've gone out!" you could see the excitement on her face while she was trying to back out of the driveway.

"you're excited while im nervous. I can't do dates nor can I even talk to new people. this could totally go down a different way" you let out a groan, hana rolls her eyes at you.

"it's good to get out of your comfort zone and what if everything does go well tonight? don't be so negative. plus, like I said before, your date is very sweet. he's my friend and so are you, you two are kind of similar! in your own way of course" she flashes you a quick smile before looking back at the road.

"yeah I go so..." you let out a huff.

"but if this blind date doesn't go well, please don't set me up on another one" she nods and laughs.

"deal" she giggles.

after about 20 minutes, hana slowly stops the car. she comes to a complete halt at the front of the restaurant that her friend is inside of.

"how are you feeling?" hana asks looking up at you. honestly, you were freaking out. you were sweating nervously, your hands felt clammy and overall your body was getting extremely warm.

"you'll be alright, trust me" she places a hand on your arm.

"really?" you look up at her, believing her words.

"maybe" she chuckled, you let out a groan.

"now he's inside, you should hurry. call me after you're finished!" she tries to push you out of the car. you take a deep breath before actually opening up the car door and getting out.

"alright, bye hana. wish me luck, I might need it" you say in a queasy voice.

"good luck unnie! love you!" she shouts right before you shut the door. you stare at the restaurants front doors. your stomach feels like it's just twisting and turning.

"is it usual to be feeling like this on a blind date?" you asked yourself. you took a few steps forward and opened the door. you walked inside to see a pretty fountain with some fishes inside and a clerk who was at the front desk tapping away at the screen in front of her.

past the front desk was a huge room filled with plenty of people eating and chatting away with each other. it seemed so lively, there was also music in the background, a young male playing the piano.

"wow this is too much for my liking" you mutter to yourself. you felt extremely weird and awkward.

"excuse me, you're y/n right?" suddenly a young male appears in front of you. oh god, hana was right. he is extremely good looking, he honestly looks like a soft and bubbly kind of dude.

"uh, yes! yes I am" you give him a soft smile, his lips curve into a smile as well.

"it's nice to meet you. there's a table ready for us, shall we go?" he put his arm out towards the dining room where others were eating. you gave him a simple nod and followed him to the table. he pulls a chair out for you and you thank him. he quickly rushes to the other side of the table and sits down in his seat.

"you look very pretty" he shyly says, you could tell you were already blushing by the heat of your face.

"thank you, you look quite handsome yourself" you let out a giggle. all you could think about at that moment was why were you acting so formal. it feels odd, you would rather go see a movie with him than a fancy restaurant but he probably wasted lots of money for this.

"hana has told me lots about you, shes been wanting to set us up apparently for a while now. it's really nice to meet you" he spoke in a soft tone, his voice was actually pretty calming so I wasn't feeling completely nervous.

"it's nice to meet you too! honestly hana just told me about you yesterday....she surprised me with a blind date. to be honest, I wasn't so sure about coming. I kind of panic when going on dates, especially these kinds. you know fancy restaurants and such" you let out an awkward chuckle, his eyes seemed surprised. oh no, maybe saying that fancy restaurants bring you panic wasn't the best choice of words.

"you don't like them?" he mumbles, you frantically panicked thinking about what right words to say next.

"well uhm-"

"I don't like them as much either, hana planned this all out. im kind of a more carnival or movie kind of guy. something that we do on our own without being so overly crowded in such a cramped space" he laughs. you were quite surprised, even when he laughs it's like a soft laugh.

"im jungwoo by the way, im guessing hana hasn't told you" he smiles.

"yeah she's not the best at giving me important information" the two of you chuckle.

"I know this is out of the blue but do you wanna go see a movie instead?" he asks, you cock a brow.

"really?" he nods at you.

"let's go then!" you jerked up from your chair, he notices your burst of energy thinks it's utterly adorable.

"wait what about hana? I'd feel bad, she set this all up..." your loud voice turned into a quiet tone.

"hana will understand, after all she is our friend. now let's go see a movie A S A P!" he shouts the last words loudly making you just laugh.

"how was your date?" hana asked glancing at you as you enter the car.

"really fun, we ditched your restaurant" you tell her.

"I could tell, im picking you up at the movie theaters" she giggles.

"are you going to see him again?" she asked.

"of course" you giggled at her as she started to drive away.
