it's been a year, one full year without him. without the loving, comforting, handsome, young man that you had fallen in love with.
you stared out the window watching the rain drops trickle down.
"hey y/n" you glance over at Taeyong who sat down across from you in the booth.
"how you doing?" he spoke softly, you gave him a small smile.
"tae, you don't need to ask me every time" you tapped on your coffee cop, Taeyong stares at you and sighs.
"im just worried about you that's all, since you know...." Taeyong's sentence trailed off.
"yeah yeah I know" you let out a little sigh.
"uhm where are the others" you asked trying to change the subject.
"they're at his—" you just nodded at him, knowing what he was going to say. it was awkward silence for a while until the door let's a little ring. there came in all of the boys with gloomy expressions.
"hi noona, how are you?" Jisung, the youngest member attempted to smile.
"im doing okay Jisung" you moved so he could sit next to you. all of you sat together in the big booth that was able to fit all of you. you all talked, the talks were sad, sometimes funny, and happy.
slowly everyone made their way out of the coffee shop to head home. soon it was only you, Doyoung and Jaehyun at the coffee shop.
"come on, we'll walk you home" Jaehyun stood up and put on his jacket. Doyoung stood up as well as you, Doyoung grabs your jacket and helps put it on you.
"thank you" you smiled while he nodded. the three of you exited the coffee shop. you three walked down on the street and talked. after a while of walking, you quickly come to a halt. Doyoung and Jaehyun looked back at you and then the convenience store which you were staring at. the two of them shared sad expressions. your eyes began to tear.

[ five months before incident ]
"babe come on!" Johnny laughed as you adored the puppies that were behind the window store.
"they're so cute!" you giggled, Johnny chuckled. he pulled on your arm which made you hit him.
"how about this, I get enough money to buy a house with a beautiful backyard where our future kids could play in and I'll buy us a puppy" Johnny smiled while your eyes beamed.
"you promise?" you asked, Johnny giggled and nodded.
"I promise" he laughs.
"come on let's hurry back to the guys before we lose them" Johnny holds your hand and leads the way.

"luna stop running around, you're gonna hit someone" a lady scolds as she helps with the costumer at the register.
