him

if you were anyone else,
i wouldn't mind

if i saw you in someone else,
i wouldn't mind

wish he were here instead,
don't want that living in your head

he comes to see me
when i ask for him
he does it so well
he's been so understanding

i couldn't ask for better

but my heart is broken
because

he wanted someone back,
when i was trying so hard
for him

maybe in the future
one day
just maybe one day

things will change
and maybe
he will love me
