This book is a past version of Glitch book 3 that is being discontinued. The rewrite of book 3 of the glitch is called glitching to rewrite time and you can find it in my glitch series reading list.
Sorry for the confusion but I just wasn't happy w...
Now here they were four days later, trying to get her to stop being a stubborn little glitch and eat, but she was still refusing. They'd tried just about everything, called everyone they could think of short of her father. Outing her as a time traveling superhero to him didn't seem like it would help the problem. Sara was about ready to tie her down and force feed her. This was ridiculous. She was being ridiculous. It never should have gotten to this point, if only someone had seen sooner, thank god Zari did at all. If they could just knock some sense into Clarity all would be well again.
"There's another problem." Amaya added speaking quietly to avoid Clarity hearing anything on the other side. "She's trying to hide the symptoms, but she's getting a fever. I've seen it happen before. When we were in the JSA. Her refusal to use her abilities is causing an energy build up."
"Energy build up...?" Sara asked in confusion repeating the last three words.
"Clarity's body doesn't just store electrical energy. It generates it. Normally, Clarity uses her powers, glitches around, blasts things, plays around with them, let's them out. Once that electricity leaves her body, new lightning takes the olds place in a stable flow of energy. But because she isn't using her powers, because she's holding it all inside, it's all just slowly building up inside of her. If she grows hot enough, if her body amasses too much electrical energy, her cells will start to break down, the lightning within her will rip her apart to escape its confines. We won't have to worry about her eating anything. Her body will destroy itself." Amaya frowned.
Sara took a deep sighing breath rubbing at her face. "Alright you two take five. I'm gonna see what I can do."
With that said, Sara grabbed the cup of strawberries off the plate Mick was holding, and walked into the glitch's room. It was noon and Clarity was still in her pajamas. A soft long sleeve top with a blue pattern that reminded Sara of the ocean and soft silvery Gray sweatpants that were long and flowy near the ankles.

"Hey, check it out." Zari nodded to the door, she sat on the opposite side of Claritys bed. She leaned forwards a fraction but she didn't lean over the line of pillows Clarity had set out. "Captains come for a visit."
"Hey Pachirisu," Sara held up the cup. "Brought you some nice juicey chocolate covered strawberries, your favorite."
"I'm not hungry." Clarity denied, a picture of Tyler and herself in her hands. She didn't even look up from it. Just kept staring at the picture of her ex and herself before she got her powers.
"Really? Too bad, cause these are amazing." Sara stabbed a strawberry and ate it. "These are probably the greatest strawberries ever made."
"That's great, Sara. Enjoy. You can have them, I'm not hungry." Clarity denied once more with a slight shake of her head. Zari's lips pressed together into a frown lightly shaking her head.
"Zari, can you give us a minute?" Sara asked the totem bearer.
"Yeah," Zari nodded. "I gotta go kick that Jonas kids butt at whatever game he's playing anyways. Gideon says he's getting cocky and she could use some backup." Zari walked out of the room to go find Jonas leaving Sara alone with Clarity.
