"True, we haven't, but I have." Clarity countered.

"What? You have not." Sara protested recalling how Clarity had a kined her to a ghost when they first met. "I don't count."

"I'm not talking about you." Clarity replied.

"Your not?" Sara pressed her angling her head.

"No, it's a bit of a long story, but way before I joined team flash, right before I was striking out as a young glitchling hero deciding to follow the arrows lead and fight bad guys with my newly acquired powers. I did go on an actual ghost hunt. My friend Melany. I didn't know her very long. She died pretty tragically. There was this whole seancè gone wrong. She became a ghost, and there was actually this other ghost who was trying to kill me at the time, that's what killed her. He was after me cause I killed him, so really there were two ghosts, but it all got sorted by my favorite magical trench coat guy." Clarity sighed dreamily as she thought back to it. "Never a dull moment, so much excitement. God that was an amazing weekend."

"Your favorite magical trench coat guy?" Stein reiterated slowly. "Would this be the same man with which was the best sex of your life?"

"So what if it was? Are you implying something professor?" Clarity challenged.

"Only that your memory might not be as crystal clear as you think. Perhaps there is a haze surrounding that weekend's memory, clouding your mind as ghosts are not real."

"Okay," Sara clapped her hands together eyes wide and blinking. Struggling to comprehend what she had just heard. "I say we stop talking about Clarity sleeping with magic men and paling with ghosties and go see what's so interesting about this anachronism."

"To the past!" Nate declared with a snap of his fingers.

"Woah woah, not you sugar cube." Sara denied grabbing Claritys arm as she made to go to the fabricator. "You've got the twitches. Your staying on the ship til your sugar high wears off. With your powers it's best to keep them out of sight."

"Aww but you can't even take a picture of the vampire for me!" Clarity complained. "If they act up I'll be discrete about it, I'll bring a purse and put an empty battery in it-"

"No, Clarity. We both know it wouldn't be that simple." Sara replied. "Amaya,"

"Make sure Clarity stays on the ship." Amaya nodded. "I know babysitter duty when I hear it."

"After I kill him I'll give you his cloak." Mick told Clarity. "Won't miss out on a thing."

"Urgh, fine. Breakfast it is then." Clarity looked to Zari sitting on the parlour stairs. "Zari care to join? I can show you how to really make those pancakes good."

"They're already good." Zari protested clutching her plate of pancakes close.

"Ah, but they could be better." Clarity sing songed.

"What the hell, but I'm trying yours before you do anything to mine." Zari insisted. "These are perfect."

"Challenge accepted." Clarity smiled the two going off to eat breakfast together.

"Hey Clarity," Zari spoke up as she sat down in her chair the glitch making herself the most phenomenal pancakes from scratch. "Why can't I save my family?"

"Oh god, please don't ask me that question." Clarity pleaded lightning cracking up and down her arm twisting to lift the pan into the air. "Can't you ask anyone else? Like Mick, he knows all about the intricacies of time travel."

"Too late, I'm asking you." Zari replied pointing at her with her fork. "I already asked Sara, Amaya, and Stein over breakfast and I understand why you or Sara couldn't. Messing with your futures and everything, the whole temporal butterfly effect of changing time, but if I took the jumpship, if I went by myself picked them all up-"
