Ch 8: Rip the mission highjacker

Start from the beginning

"Ah, I see what your getting at. Since we can't hack the watch for its GPS data, we're gonna have to solve this one the old-fashioned way. With fingerprints." Ray grinned.

"Okay, we got the coroner's fingerprints." Jax observed as Ray placed the watch on a tablet doing a biometric scan.

"Uh-huh. And the second one is mine, obviously, since Clarity used her lightning that wouldn't leave anything, and the third one is unidentifiable, and the fourth one is... Oliver Queen?" Ray narrated in confusion.

"Oliver's a time-traveling vampire from the future?" Jax wondered in confusion.

"Uh, I think Felicity would have noticed something like that and told me. Something else is up." Clarity shook her head.

"We got to call Team Arrow, figure out what the heck's going on." Ray remarked.

"Already on it." Clarity replied. She wasn't able to get a hold of Felicity. It was late and she was probably eating dinner or something with William and Oliver. So she called the next best thing on team Arrow, Curtis Holt. Who was happy to run down to the arrowcave and check it out for them.

"Whoa, guys, I am digging the digs. I mean, I have some serious lab envy over here." Curtis replied as he popped up on the temporal communicator in Ray's hand.

"It's not Starlabs, but it's pretty sweet." Clarity agreed. "Stein set it up, used to be a cargo space, but now it's science candy land."

"No way, it could not get any cooler." Curtis shook his head.

"Yeah? Well, check this out." Ray grinned swiping up on the device moving Curtis to the big screen.

"Ha and I didn't even have to lift a finger." Clarity smiled to herself.

"Whoa, okay, wow." Curtis blinked in surprise. "Uh, well, I've analyzed that unidentified print and got back 100,000 possible variations on a complete friction ridge."

"Okay, so, do we have a match?" Ray asked him.

"Unfortunately." Curtis replied. "I hope you guys have a bar on that ship, because you're gonna need a drink. The watch belongs to... Damien Darhk."

"Oh my god." Clarity paled. She tapped her com. "Sara, Sara the body they have don't look at-"

"Too late. Damien Darhk. I'm looking right at the Bastard." Sara replied.

"Darhk must be integral to Mallus' plan." Rip remarked.

"We can't leave Damien Darhk's body to be resurrected." Sara denied.

"Uh, Darhk may be a madman, but he's not the madman we're presently after." Rip reminded her.

"Guys, we have definitely overstayed our welcome." Amaya called over coms.

"Fall back." Sara ordered. "Clarity glitch us all back to the ship, Darhks body too."

"I would, but if he's in the room with you I can't feel him. His body doesn't have a charge, there's no electrical energy to glitch him with." Clarity replied.

"It's okay. It's fine." Sara took a breath taking one last look at Darhk. "Just us then."

Clarity glitched everyone back to the ship the waverider briefly flying overhead the place they were then away. Landing in a field somewhere.
Clarity glitching herself to the bridge.

"Sara.." Clarity started slowly. "I...Uh,"

Whatever the Glitch was about to say was cut off by Mick striding angrily onto the bridge.
"The hell is going on? We're not killing vampires anymore?"
