"I quit." Clarity replied. "After Gideon was gone... it changed everything. I should have gone with you guys from the get go. I'm sorry, I never should have stayed behind with them."
"Quit apologizing. You were our inside contact." Mick nodded. "Most important part of a heist is spying on the competition. Gaining intel on how they operate. You can spill all their secrets now."
"You don't want to roast me for being apart of the bureau?" Clarity asked hesitantly. Clarity had been sure Mick would want her to burn for essentially becoming a time cop.
"You're better than those swine." Mick insisted leaning against the doorway. "You were never really one of them. Never saw you wear their damn suit."
"They really were tacky. Anyways, the agents a friend of mine. We have to help him because knowing Ava she's going to leave him on read for three hours cause she thinks he's annoying. With me gone no one is going to notice he's missing.." Clarity added. "He's in way over his head."
"Why? Thought the bureau was supposed to be the best around?" Mick asked. "Actually, forget it. I don't care."
"It's the dweeby one, Gary." Sara told him.
"Hey, he's not a dweeb. That's mean." Clarity protested. "He's a really good guy once you get to know him. He's just not as good under pressure as a lot of people, he has really bad anxiety that gets in the way in the field. You should see him in a training room though it's a completely different story."
"Still don't care." Mick added.
"Yeah, I gotta go with Mick on this one. Doesn't matter who this guy is. I mean ignoring his distress call? That's not our job. We've never backed down from answering one of those before. Not the time with the zombies or with that time master on the achronon. We gotta help him cause those ass clowns won't. It's the right thing to do."
"Hopefully that little time dweeb learns his lesson on who's got his back." Mick twisted his hand upwards. "He could be our new mole inside. Could be our chance to turn sharpie's rat against her."
"Agreed, but last time I checked, we help people who are in trouble." Sara protested.
"I don't." Mick grunted. "What's your point?"
"My point is helping this guy should be our priority," Sara insisted. "Not getting him to switch allegiances."
"We've arrived, Captain." Gideon informed her cloaking the ship as they descended.
"Alright, let's move." Sara ordered, as they walked down the hall they ran into Ray who seemed eager to come along. Scooping Clarity up in a hug the second her saw her Clarity returning it.
"Now the legends are all back together." Ray grinned as they went to grab some fall jackets. Clarity following after making no move to change intent on keeping on what she was already wearing even if her vest was sleeveless.
"Except for Rip and the hawks." Clarity began.
"Who needs them." Mick interjected.
"Yeah, kendra treated you like crap all the time, never really got to know Carter," Jax shrugged a jacket on. "and Rip, not sure if I want him here after all the shit he's pulled. Might've brought us together but I can't be the only one who's noticed the guys an ass 'specially lately."
"Alright how about Snart and Todd then?" Clarity suggested.
"They retired and you know so did Kendra and Carter. There's nothing wrong with wanting to live a happy life with the one you love. They'll always be legends unlike Rip who quit on this team. His legend status is revoked former captain or not. You sure you don't want a jacket, Clarity?" Sara asked her. "It's chilly out. Gideon says it's only 50."
