"We weren't." Sara replied hands on her hips. "Rory was on a bender when Julius Caesar showed up."
Rip couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Agent Sharp, have we seen any activity that would match such a massive historical displacement?"
"Absolutely not, sir." Ava immediately denied.
"Well, I guess you must have missed one then." Sara turned to her.
"I find that very hard to believe, and you know what-" Ava began.
"Uh, you know Rip. Mick did try calling me three times this morning." Clarity pulled out her phone stepping between Sara and Ava. "Not that he left a message but maybe it was about that? Haven't gotten a chance to ring him back though. I could call him now, see what's up?"
"That won't be necessary, Clarity." Rip replied. He looked to Ava. "Ready a go-team and we will meet you at the Op-Center."
"Sir." Ava nodded walking off to follow his order.
"In the meantime," Rip clapped his hands together. "Who fancies a tour?"
"Oh you are going to love it!" Clarity gushed grabbing onto Ray's arm. Glitching her bike to the garage.
"Ah yes and Clarity, this is for you." Rip sighed passing her a yellow slip of paper.
"What's that?" Ray wondered.
"Uniform citation." Clarity answered. "He makes people pay fines when they aren't wearing their work clothes. I refuse to subscribe to the conformity. I think I could make a whole tree by now with how many of these I've gotten."
"It's not about conforming." Rip protested. "It's about looking professional and your walking around all day looking like a Barbie who joined a biker gang. It's distracting to people."
"At this point you should just take it out of my pay." Clarity shook her head. "Professionalism or not nobody even sees us except for us. Never gonna wear the tacky suit."
"People are filing complaints." Rip told her.
"Men are filing complaints." Clarity corrected. "All your women agents don't give a damn. Except for Ava but honestly don't care what that one thinks. Besides it's not like I'm not paying the fines. Why don't you just tell them to look away if it bothers them. Not that bothering is really the real issue there. People sure do seem to be doing a lot of staring right now though and I doubt it's cause of my outfit."
"Guess they're, uh, not used to seeing famous people."Nate brushed a hand through his hair. "Not to brag but I do have a coffee named after me."
Claritys face fell. "Oh? Good for you. I'm sure everyone is ordering it. Must Uh must taste amazing.."
"Yeah, sure maybe but don't forget we're kind of also like we're the Founding Fathers of the Time Bureau." Ray grinned.
"In a way." Rip looked back at him for a moment. "I suppose if you lot hadn't created the greatest time paradox the world had ever known, all of these people would have nothing to do."
"Unhand me, you knave!" A familiar voice yelled from an interrogation room.
"Is that?" Sara tilted her head point down a hall.
"Oh, yeah. King Arthur." Rip nodded his head. "His displacement into the Spanish Civil War caused quite the Anachronism." Rip answered as Agents brought the king out.
"Ah, evil sorcerer! I might have known you were responsible for all of this. I shall never bow to the Zarysa-" he slumped in the agents arms as Rip flashed him.
