"Not very well ma'am." The little girl corrected herself. "Uh, I mean Miss Glitch."
"What are they doing here?" The man asked Clarity and Rip gesturing to the three legends who had unprofessionally scoffed at the cadets correction.
"We are here to help you." Ray told him speaking up before either could.
"That's very gracious of you. But whatever it is, we have professionals who can handle the matter." The man looked at Clarity. "Professionals who should be in uniform."
"We've been over this sir. I can do my job no matter what I'm wearing. My track record proves it." Clarity showed the yellow slip. "I already got my daily citation. I can handle any anachronism that rears it's head. Not to worry."
"Along with whatever damage Mr. Rory causes." Rip added.
"Mick? Please, he's harmless." Clarity insisted. "Anyways continuing on with that tour who's ready to see ops? Permission to glitch?"
"Hai. Faster we get these people out of here the better." The man replied Clarity glitched them all to ops.
"Do we have a location on Mr. Rory?" Rip asked walking in. Clarity and the others following behind.
"Mm, we followed a trail of petty larceny reports. He's been holed up on the beach, running up a room service tab and a serious collection of STDs." Ava answered
"That's our Mick." Nate chimed walking up to a monitor in wonder.
"He's been busy." Ray agreed.
"Don't stand here. Don't...don't, we have the whole room." Tyler huffed as Clarity stood next to him.
"I like this monitor." Clarity insisted. "If you don't like it you can move."
"I was here first." Tyler argued. "You move."
"No. I want to stand here." Clarity crossed her arms. "You don't have to stand next to me if you don't want to."
"I have a metahuman allergy. Five feet apart. Go over there with your old loser team this is a clean space."
"That's not a thing, Ty."
"Is too. I don't want you or the toaster in between your legs anywhere near me."
"Did you just call my vagina a toaster?" Clarity looked to him in scandalization.
"I wouldn't stick it in either now would I?" Tyler crossed his arms.
"Maybe your just a coward." Sara spoke eyeing Tyler in disdain.
"Oh please he's the bravest one in the room." Ava scoffed jumping to Tyler's offense. "He's always the first one in last one out."
"Agents, I don't believe that's an appropriate conversation to be having during work hours." Rip reprimanded with a sigh.
"So I take it you two know each other not from work?" Nate asked Tyler and Clarity carefully. Like there wasn't any awkward tension in the room.
"Ex boyfriend/Ex fiancé." They chorused at the same time.
"Seriously?" Tyler looked at her, "I gave you my grandmothers ring."
"An engagement of five hours doesn't count for anything. You at least have to make the twenty four hour mark. I gave that ring back already." Clarity tersely replied.
"If you two could focus otherwise I will have the both of you removed." Rip warned. "I mean it. You might be two of my best agents but that doesn't mean you won't face any disciplinary action. Don't make me send you to HR."
