Chapter Eight

"Irrational? I am being irrational?" Leighton asked and he scoffed. "If someone is irrational here, it was you Mom." He said.

"You killed your own wife for Pete's sake!"

"Because she is cheating on me!"

"She is not cheating on you! you just let someone's opinion get into your head!"

"That is enough!"

Mabilis naman na hinila ko si Lloyd at iniharang ang katawan ko sa harap ni Emmeline, I felt the searing pain in my shoulder and I took a deep breath to ease the pain kahit papaano. Hindi na bago ito sa akin, I've been shot for God knows how many times.

"I'm sorry Mama, I need to borrow one of your collections." I muttered at saka inalis ang katana sa lalagyan nito and I launched myself towards Leighton.

I successfully removed the gun from his hand and used the handle of the katana to hit his chest, napa-atras naman ito and he looked at me. "Look what we got here." He said and smiled.

"Mikhail!" Pagtawag naman sa akin ni Lloyd pero hindi ko siya pinansin.

"Oh my! did I ruin your outfit? I'm so sorry about that." Leighton said sarcastically.

I immediately kicked him in his stomach and again, napa-atras ulit ito. He looked at his side at may katana din doon na naka-display, he immediately broke the glass at kinuha ang katana at inalis sa lalagyan nito.

"And now we are even." He said and grinned.

Hindi naman ako nagsalita at iniba ang paghahawak sa katana ko. This time he launched himself at me, I dodged that attack.

Our katanas clashed then I stepped on his foot at sinipa palayo sa kanya ang katana na hawak niya.

I can tell na hindi ito sanay sa paggamit noon.

When I saw a chance. Immediately, I swing my katana at natamaan naman ito sa dibdib niya.

Blood started to seep in his white longlseeve. He groaned in pain and glared at me.

"Y-you a-are really like your father." He said at napahinto naman ako sa sinabi niya. Rage immediately came to me and I swing my katana again to him.

The wounds formed at 'x' shape on his chest at may sugat din siya sa kaliwang pisngi niya.

He knows where is my father and he knows who I am.

"Are you angry? little Reagan?" He taunted.

I was about to swing my katana again nang biglang sumakit ang mata ko dahil sa smoke bomb na ibinato sa pagitan namin.

Napa-upo naman ako sa sahig while ny eyes are still closed.

"Mikhail!? Mikhail!" Pagtawag naman sa akin ni Lloyd, dahan-dahan naman na iminulat ko ang mga mata ko and I looked at him.

"Lloyd..." I mumbled.

"Dalhin mo na kaagad siya sa hospital! she has a wound on her shoulder!" Sigaw naman ni Emmeline kay Lloyd.

Tumingin naman ako sa harap ko at wala na doon si Leigthon, tanging ang katana na lang na hawak niya kanina at isang patak ng dugo ang nandoon.

Napapitlag naman ako ng bigla akong buhatin ni Lloyd in bridal style.

"That was a blunt move Mikhail." He muttered and I chuckled lowly as diziness started to set in me.

"I know...but atleast, Mama is safe." I muttered before falling into the dark abyss.
