go unnoticed
Small, seemingly
unnecessary things
Until they're not here,
they go unnoticed.
The air we breathe,
unseen, unnoticed
Unappreciated,
taken for granted.
Thank you for the air
Thank you for the water
Thank you for the sun
Thank you for the plants
Thank you for the light
Thank you even
for the darkness at night,
which allows us to sleep tight
Thank you for the joys
Thank you for the sorrows
For without the downs
we can't appreciate
the "ups" even more.
Thank you
for everything that
keeps our lives rollin'
Even for the smallest,
most unnoticeable,
seemingly useless
of all things.
