The pain seared through me as I pushed out my baby girl, almost oblivious of the sound of war going on outside the castle....my husband gripped my hand, urging me on..

"Come on,Nelisa!" He said,impatiently

I shot him a death stare as I let out a blood curdling scream and pushed...she finally slid out...her wails filled the room and I collapsed into bed, exhausted from the childbirth pains

"She's beautiful,Nelisa....our daughter is adorable"I heard my husband say gruffly...

I looked up at him,he was staring at the baby with glassy eyes...I laid back my head and I let the tears flow...I know that I had to let her go...she couldn't stay in the underwater kingdom.

You see,I went into labor in the middle of the war that had threatened to break out months ago between my kingdom,Oceania and Aquatopia...Lisette (Queen of Aquatopia) wanted to conquer the seven mer-cities so as to become the Queen of the sea...she needs the trident of Oceania and she won't stop at nothing to get it.

And in the middle of all of these,my baby girl decided to come!...we had to send her out of the kingdom because she is the future queen, the throne child...and if Lisette found out she had been born, she would never let her live

I opened my eyes in time to see my husband place the baby into Nana's arms...
"Let me hold her"I said gently
"Sure"she placed the bundle gently into my arms and I gave her my blessings and almost half my power...

"Be careful Nelisa, you need you powers"My husband said quietly..he could sense my pain,I didn't want her to go

"My Azure"I whispered audibly, stroking her hair...I hear the uproar get closer,a loud crash in the other room,i could tell that lisette's army had invaded the inner part of the castle...the part where i laid with my baby...I jerked up as Aaron,my husband grabbed Azure from me...

"No!...my baby!"I screamed out in heart-wrenching pain"Don't take her away from me!"I reached in vain as I watched Aaron swim out of the room...I laid back on the bed, whimpering and allowing the darkness to swallow me
