SETH POV:

My head hurts. I don't have any idea where I am, or what I'm doing here, but it cannot be for a good reason. I stand up, my cyan soul illuminates the darkness around me, but still it was virtually impossible to see. I attempt to look around, still nothing. Then I feel a cold presence, from behind me. "Why are you doing this." I ask in the darkness. A minute of silence passes. "Dear Boy, if I were to tell you that I would have just gone into the world myself." he said. "And what kept you?" I ask. "You children are all the same. It's not as simple as your stupid video games, or drawing, no it's much more... deeper than that unfortunately." said the man. "If I'm such a child, then what made you think it was a good idea to send me out there with nothing to my memory?" I ask. Another minute of silence passes. "When you fell into one of the many pieces of me scattered all over the Earth, I felt something powerful within you. YOUR SOUL." he said trying to sound scary. But it went right above my head. "Seth, your soul is unlike any other soul I use to study in my time as the Underground's royal scientist." I start to become intrigued. "Tell me more." I hear him sigh. "I was known as Dr. Wing Ding Gaster. I was the most respected, and revered out of any of the fellow scientists in the underground. I created many things, I created the DT extractor, which took any being with determination to be ridden of it. I also made the CORE, a source of magical power for the entire underground." he went silent. "Then there was that one faithful day, I fell into the core. My body was torn apart, it was excruciating, I soon scattered onto nearly every inch of ground in the underground, all my assistants fell in with me. They walk among the underground to this very day, not as ghosts, but as confused souls. Whenever someone were to stumble upon them, they would attempt to remind them of me. But however, falling into my own creation had many sever consequences. Everybody forgot about me." I start to understand. "So, you saw how my soul was powerful enough to persist even by entering the void, and saw that as your opportunity to bring you back." I say. He chuckles. "You know, you're a lot smarter than your sister Seth." he said. "That's what I wanted to talk with you about, your... sister." What did he have to say about Chara? I just sit quietly and listen. "Seth, I'm sure you're aware of the ability to RESET, the power to SAVE, or CONTINUE." I nod. "well Seth, it seemed your little sister decided one day, after decades of being dead, and forever remembered in everybody's minds and hearts, that she should come back." I continue to listen. "It was when Frisk fell down into the Underground, that she decided to help them on their journey. Frisk's... Determination was incredibly powerful, it was so powerful in fact that it stopped even Asriel's ability to save." "When did Asriel get determination?" I ask. "Oh yes, I forgot you've been asleep for so long you have had no idea, what happened to your little sister and Asriel. See Chara and Asriel decided they wanted to free monster-kind. And from tales of old, the only way to pass the barrier, the magical seal trapping us all underground, was to use the power of a monster and human soul. I knew that this plan was going to backfire from the very beginning, but I couldn't do anything about it ever since I was already forgotten." this was all interesting things to hear, but how did it backfire? "See Seth, your sister... killed herself." What? Chara kill herself? I was so confused and wanted answers but knew the only way to get them was to listen to Gaster. "Chara sickened herself with buttercups and asked Asriel to absorb her soul, then cross the barrier to let her see the bed of flowers on her village. The original plan was for him to absorb her soul, then wait patiently for 6 other humans to fall down and absorb their souls. However Chara, after suffering the effects from the buttercups, she started to regret her actions, so that's why she asked Asriel to bring her to the bed of flowers to her village. This seemed like such an easy-to-get -away with plan to them, because they were but children. But as soon as Asriel entered the village, the humans lashed out at him, spears, torches, and all kinds of weaponry were thrown at them. Chara tried to fight them, as she was afraid Asriel was going to go down with her. But Asriel tanked the hits, then ran back home. It was when his parents realized that he absorbed Chara's soul and passed the barrier that he... died. Both their souls shattered not leaving a trace. Asgore declared that every human that falls down will be brutally murdered, disgusting Toriel, so she then left to leave the ruins, where years and more and more children pass through her home, only to be murdered by Asgore." I was dumbstruck, I had no idea how to respond to this, then he continues. "Alphys, my replacement, took charge of the lab I once used. She built her own lab on top and did her... investigations there." I could tell Gaster was upset at something. "She used my research to accidentally create these horrible, shambling amalgamations which roam my old lab. She is also responsible for resurrecting Asriel, but not in the way you would think. She injected a flower which had Asriel's ashes on it with determination, then he was reborn as a horrible flower with unfathomable power. That was when he gained the ability to reset, and save. I could tell he had a lot of fun with that feature until Frisk showed up. Frisk's determination alone was able to resurrect Chara. She helped her through puzzles, befriending the monsters, and even saving Asriel for a short while. It looked like it was a happy ending, all of the monster's were freed and the humans eventually learned to adapt to their new monster brethren, until Frisk became bored. She reset the timeline, and found herself at the very beginning. Chara of course was back, but had no idea why Frisk reset, so she just let her do what she wants for a while. Then Frisk started killing monsters. That was when Chara became corrupted, she took over Frisk after she killed around 23 monsters, then went to slice her former friends in two. She was relentless, she did whatever it took to kill every last monster. Even her own best friend Asriel. Asriel as a flower, with no soul adopted a horrible view of the world. 'Kill or be Killed' It was interesting to say the least to what happened to him when Chara decided to turn into a genocidal maniac." He needn't say no more, I saw what happened and can piece together what happened from what he told me. "She killed her own adoptive mother and father. She haunted Frisk from that day onward, when Frisk wanted to befriend everybody once again, she would just kill them anyway. I was just watching from the sidelines unable to do anything, I wanted to stop that maniac you called a sister. Then Frisk got the smart idea to create a DIFFERENT file, a file where everything she just did was totally pointless. She used this timeline to bring Chara, and Asriel back. This timeline Seth, happens to be the one you just were existing in a few moments ago. However when I realized your attentions to find me, I knew it would be nearly impossible to defeat you, so I decide to bring you to MY world, and torture your friends for their awful sins that they did throughout all these timelines." This was all starting to make so much sense to me, yet I still can't believe Chara would do all those things. "Then where do I fall into this?" I asked. "You Seth, like I said earlier have a soul trait completely different from the other traits that I studied. I called this trait WILLPOWER, the power to see what comes next, the power to completely and utterly destroy you enemies by a finger snap. I thought one of my descendants were powerful enough to destroy Chara, I however was wrong. Chara was too unpredictable, she kept resetting even though he was giving it his all. Your soul power however, your WILLPOWER possibly could match Chara's Determination. I don't know what capabilities it has other than the ones I explained, but I know it's powerful." "So, that's why you woke me up. You thought if you sent me in there without a single remembrance of her, I could destroy her without regret." "Yes, I however made a mistake by giving you the knife and the locket, because it ended up with you becoming siblings with her again." he said. 5 minutes of silence passes. To think Chara could... No! It can't be true! He's only saying it so that I could join his side! And eventually he'll convince me to hurt everybody else! "I'm not helping you kill Chara, Gaster. She's my little sister, I won't!" I yell at him. Then all of a sudden the room glows an odd shade of grey. I see Gaster in the other end of the room, I look around, it's just a room of grey. "W-Where am I?" I ask. "If you won't help me, then I might as well help you." "W-What do you mean by that?" I say nervously. "THIS!" He says. I see three huge blasters aimed at me. "Do you know what these are?" He asks. I take a better look at them, they're the blasters that I use! "Hmm, these my young impressionable friend are called 'Gaster Blaster's'!" I stare in shock at them, their sizes are hilarious compared to mine. Mine look like rats compared to his Dinosaurs. He sees the look of nervousness on my face. "Haha, I knew you would piss yourself at the sight of these, so that's why I gave you your powers back." He said, at this I feel my right eye burn, and feel the power surge through my bones. I knew this was not going to be an easy fight, but I was ready... I felt the WILLPOWER. "Watch and learn." He said as the monster-blasters head towards me. I was ready. I teleport closer to Gaster, ending up behind the blasters. I throw hundreds of bones towards the blasters, they were cracking. I took this as the chance to attack Gaster. I bring up several blasters, then use them to blast him into smithereens, he warps into space and reality to dodge. I start to get frustrated. I look around to where he went. I try to foresee what happens next, but all I see is static. I start to hear a massive charging sound. I look behind and see an entire army of gaster blasters, There's no way I could teleport past them, I run as fast as I can. The beams are right on my tail, the last few unfortunately caught my sweater, and they catch on fire. I try to stop drop and roll, and I see yet another huge gaster blaster pointed towards me, I see on top of it Gaster. This blaster was extraordinarily huge, it's the biggest one he's sent yet. Then I see numerous mini-blasters come out from him. I decide to look into the deepest reaches of my soul and tap into what I can actually do. I open my eyes. I see hundreds of blasters are heading my way. I look under me then raise my hands up. I stairway of bones leads the way to the blaster. the blasters blast at my staircase, but I hop onto one then forced it to do my bidding. I command it to fly me up to Gaster. we fly through hundreds, no possibly thousands of blasts homing in on us. But we were too fast, before I knew it we already acquired high ground on Gaster. I then summon thousands of blasters on my end. "This is it Gaster! Give me back my friends or I WILL blow you into smithereens!" I said. He chuckles. "Come." He says. He turns his blaster towards mine, then we both ready our blasters. *BOOOM* My blasters launch a devastating amount of magic towards Gaster. His single Monstrous blaster launches a blinding light. Our Beams fight for dominance, I try to summon a few more to increase the effect, but it was too late. My vision then went completely light, then it went darker, darker, yet darker.
