Willpower (an Undertale fanfic.)

P2: Chapter 4: The Great Unveiling.

CHARA POV:

I wake up. I looked at where I was positioned, I was hugging Azzy, who was still sleeping. I look behind me, and see Frisk hugging Seth, they looked so adorable. I start to remember the intense pillow fight we had last night. Wait.. The pillow fight! There's feathers, and pillows everywhere. "Guys! Wake up!" I yell at them. I feel Azzy move behind me and see Seth and Frisk look up. "Huh?" the sleeping beauties said. "We need to clean up this mess, before Mom and Dad wake up!" At the sound of that we all spring to action, as if it was a scene in some movie. Seth and Asriel took care of organizing the beds, and me and Frisk try scooping the feathers into the trash.

It took a whole 45 minutes before the room was nice and spiffy. We all look at our good work and high-five each other, while woo-hooing. "Yeah! We did it!" I said. Then we all went quiet, when mom entered the room. "Oh! you're all awake!" she said. The four of us stand next to each other in a line, in silence. She looks at us suspiciously. "Breakfast is in the kitchen." she said while walking slowly away, we follow. I smile at the smell of snail pie. "Me and your father are going out, to get the decorations." She said. We all look at her. "Uh, what decorations?" Asriel asks, as we dig in to our pies. "You know! The party we're going to have where you reveal your relationships to your friends!" We all stare at her gaping. We all had a conversation yesterday about this. We all agreed, but we didn't know it was going to be today. "Th-that's today?" said Frisk. "Of Course!" she said. We hear honking outside. Must be Dad. "Well, I gotta go!" she said while going out the door. We all look at each other. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" We all said in unison, as if we were a Church chorus. "W-What d-do we do?" said Asriel. "I'm Panicking! I'm Panicking! said Frisk. I just spin on the floor like Homer Simpson. That was when we hear profuse whistling. We all look to where It came from. We were met with Seth, standing on the table, looking heroically at the wall. "Everybody stay calm!" said Seth backflipping off the table. It looked impressive as hell. "B-But!" I squeal. "STAY FUCKING CALM!" he yelled. I sink into my jacket. "Asriel! Do you love Chara?" he said. "Y-Yeah, but-" He turns toward me. "Chara! do you love Asriel?" he asked. "Y-yes." I said nervously. He went over to Frisk and kissed her on the lips passionately. "Frisk! Do you love me?" he said, looking oblivious to the fact that he's blushing cyan. "Y-Yeah." she said looking embarrassed. "Good, and God knows I love you too." he calms down and sits on the couch. "Alright, everybody, it seems like this is the end of the world, but!" he points his finger in the air. "If we really do love each other. Then we go in there guns a' blazing!" he said. "H-How confident are you? You haven't met any of our friends!" said Frisk. "I-I'm sure they'll like me plenty. Once they get to know me at least!" he said, looking more confident than I've ever seen him. His inspiration makes me proud to have him as an older brother. "Y-yeah! We can do it guys!" I say trying to match his enthusiasm. Asriel and Frisk look at me. "Ok." they both say, with twinkles in their eyes. "C'mon guys, another group hug?" Seth said. We all nod, then the hug the hell out of each other.

THE PARTY

SETH POV:

It was 6:00, according to Mom the guests are arriving. Yes, I am a little nervous, but something inside me makes me feel.. confident? It was something like confidence, or determination, but it felt like neither. "Yo, Seth want to play some MC, while we're waiting?" asked Asriel. He was talking about Minecraft, which is actually slowly becoming our favorite game. I nod, and we continue building rainbow road until we hear the doorbell. Mom answers the door, and a tall skeleton comes bustling into the house. "HELLO ASRIEL! AND-" he stares at me. I stand up and bring out my hand. According to the list of names and descriptions that Frisk gave me, this one was named Papyrus. "Heya! Papyrus I presume?" I say, until he picks me up and hugs me. "oho! nice to meet ya too buddy." I say while chuckling. He then looks at me with tears. "I HAVE NEVER S-SEEN A-ANOTHER SKELETON B-BEFORE!" he said, while hugging me again. Then I see Sans enter. He laughs. "So, uh Paps? Can you stop RATTLING our friend for a minute?" he said. I try not to laugh, while putting my hand on my mouth. "SANS! OUR FRIEND DOESN'T APPRECIATE YOUR PUNS!"  This was when I saw an opportunity, and took it. "It's alright Papyrus, no need to SPINELESS." he drops me. Everybody in the room (except for Papyrus) starts laughing hysterically. Sans is rolling on the floor. "WELP! THERE GOES MY INSPIRATION!" He says as he stomps his way to the couch. Then I see a blue arm, reach out to me, I take it and look up to see a fish lady? with red hair, and an eye patch. "Hello there handsome. And what may your name be?" she said. I blush, "hehe, names Seth, Seth the Skeleton." she slaps my back. "Nice to meet ya Seth, Imma sit on your couch now." she said as he does so. I smile, then I see a small dinosaur look me in the eyes. "H-Hello." she said "Hiya, my name's Seth, what's yours?" I ask. "Alphys." she said nervously. "nice to meet ya Alphys." I said. She nods then sits on the couch, then I see a interestingly designed robot. "Why, hello darling. Who may you be?" he asks "Seth." I say looking at him. "Why hello Seth." he said, and gives me a sweet smile. He stands over next to our lamp. I see Mom, Dad, Frisk, Chara, and Asriel. Mom and Dad pulls up a chair. Mom whispers something to them, then she motions me over to join them. I do so. "Remember, these are your FRIENDS, they'll support you the entire way. Not to mention you have me and your father to back you up." We all nod, then head to the center room. "S-so, who wants to start it off?" I ask. The four of us look at each other. "I-I'll do it." said Frisk. We nod, then go to the center of the room. "S-So uh, the reason we called you all hear was.." I hold Frisk's hand from behind. And Chara and Asriel do too. We all breath, then hold our hands in the air. It was silence. Then I hear a squeal from Alphys. "O-Oh! I knew Asriel and Chara were going to get together! It's officially starting to become one of my favorite ships!" "Look, uh Seth, I n-never met y-you before but I'll admit you look cute with Frisk! I-It might be up there too!" I smile at her. "Congrats Punks!" she hugs all of us at once, with a decently painful hug. "I'M PROUD OF YOU FOUR! THIS REQUIRES A CELEBRATION!" said Papyrus. "Paps, why do you think we're here?" said Sans laughing. "I DON'T KNOW!" then Mom came out from the kitchen with a huge chocolate cake. I start to drool, I LOVED chocolate. I look over at Chara and she's drooling even more. Siblings will be siblings. We all get our own slices, mine and Chara's being particularly larger than the others. "hehe, You like chocolate too Seth?" Azz asks me. I mutter yes while filling my mouth, with the cake. He chuckles. Over the next few hours, I start to grow bonds with everybody. Me and Alphys argued over which anime is the best. Me and Undyne arm-wrestled, I almost won. "Heh, don't worry about it Punk! You lasted longer than Asriel over there!" she said while laughing. Which then led to me and Asriel arm-wrestling. I won. "H-How?" he said resting his head on the table. "I drink a lot of milk." I said, everybody laughs. I showed Papyrus Tetris on our T.V. He was godly at it, he got 100,000 points ahead of me and Asriel's score COMBINED. "NYEH, HEH, HEH!" he said as we all gape at the television. We stare at the rocket launch. We all applaud his raw skills. I see Sans motion me over to the corner with a cup of soda. "Heya, I like you kid. I'll just lay some advice on you. Take care of Frisk, she really seems to have accustomed to being your girlfriend, You two seem to be a match made in heaven as they say." he said while smiling cheerfully, I return it then hug him. "Thanks Sans." I said. I let go. I start to walk away, until I heard him say. "Oh, um I was going to tell you something, but I forgot." he said. I turn around. "What?" but he was gone, I look at the front door, where everybody was leaving and see him mingled next to Papyrus. "Bye, bye now!" said Mom. as she closes the door. I can hear Undyne and Alphys talking outside. "Hey-uh Alphys! you're good with ships, what do you think about Seth and Frisk?" said Undyne. "Oh! They're SO cute together! Seth's confidence matches Frisk's kindness without a doubt!" I hear Alphys say. "It easily rivals Chara and Asriel." I hear her say. I laugh at this. And go back to our room for some well-needed shut-eye. I see everybody is already in their beds sleeping. I go into mine and let my thoughts enter dream land. 

I look around. I am floating, I see nothing but dense forest, and a tall mountain. I look down, and see myself? But I was a human, I was running all around the forest yelling. "Chara! Chara! I'm sorry!" I have no idea what's going on. Until I see myself pick up some kind of rock. There was a black portal where the rock once was. Then out of nowhere I get sucked into it! I hear myself yelling. I couldn't bare to watch, until my vision gets filled with his vision. I see a spinning void, with thousands of pictures of monsters, and humans I don't recognize. I see one interesting one. It showed Chara with a horrifying expression on her, it showed her killing everyone. Papyrus, Undyne, Mettaton, Sans... "What's going on?!" I scream into the darkness. Then I see her killing mom and Dad. I feel tears flowing down. Then all I see is black. It felt like I was sitting there for all eternity, until I see a bunch of hand symbols, lighting up the darkness. They looked just like the ones I saw in the grey room I woke up in! "Wha-" I was about to ask, until I wake up. "Seth? Seth?!" I hear Asriel say. I scream. "No! please no more darkness!" I feel tears running down. "Seth are you-" I hug Chara who is the one asking. "I-It was horrible!" I said crying into her shoulder. "Shh, it's fine Seth, we're her now." said Frisk as her and Asriel hug me. "Th-thanks." I say, still slightly perplexed. I let go, and wipe the tears from my eyes. "D-Do you want to talk about it?" asked Chara. "I-I think I'd rather do this tomorrow." I say while slouching in my bed. They all nod, then go to their beds. I see Frisk look to me in her bed. She looks concerned. "I-I'm fine Frisk, go to sleep." I tell her. "Ok" she says. I start to fall asleep, as the darkness engulfs me once more.
