I think "The princess and the frog" is the most ridiculous fairy tale ever written. It teaches little girls that a frog can become a prince if they take care of it or kiss it hard enough. These said girls then grow up and devote themselves to make that story come to life. They want to make their perfect fantasy come true. They live in the illusion that the perfect guy for them might actually be full of mistakes and it's okay for him to be scared and to transfer his insecurities on to his girl. That the girls have to wait and fight and give chances and work for him to become better. But the bottom line is no matter how much you kiss a frog or push it, or help it jump and feed it, it will never, ever become a prince. Why? Because a true prince was never a frog, to begin with.
