It was just another day I was walking home from school, but today was special. Today marked 1 week until the last day of school and the start of the summer. I decided to take a path through the park.
I look out the corner of my eye and see Adam. He's known as a stereotypical jock/ cool kid. I normally try to avoid him. he just seems to have it out for me. i'm about to turn around and go the long way home. Suddenly the air is filled with a voice" Stop leave me alone!!"
I turn and see a boy a little bit older than me. he has a pink shirt with a yellow star in the middle. It becomes obvious that Adam found a new victim. I stand there watching the scene unfold in front of me. Adams emotionless voice fills the air as he pushes the boy to the ground " what you going to do, go home and cry to your mommy. ". the boy stood back up with surprising speed and try's to throw a punch at Adam and he would have hit him if one of Adams goons didn't grab him. before I realized what I was doing it was all ready to late. " Hey leave him alone!"
Adam turned and took a step towards me. my heart started to race why did I think this was a good idea. last time I decided to mess with Adam I went home with a black eye and a fractured wrist. Adam took another step closer where now he's towering over me. it's not to late to run. I could go and forget this ever happened. I look back at the kid in the pink shirt. one of Adams friends had a tight hold on the collar of his shirt. the kid had a brave face. and I would have believed that he wasn't scared of his eyes didn't give him away. there was fear in those eyes the same kind of fear when you walk to class and have an exam you didn't study for. or when your walking home alone at night and you think someone is following you. I couldn't leave him. I clear my throat trying to mask the Fear.
" I said Leave him Alone!!" Adam stared at me with rage in his eyes " oh yea well what are you going to do about it" and with that Adam Shoved me into the ground. I landed flat on my back and hitting my head on the curb. everything starts to get blurry and then every thing goes black.
So this is the first chapter I hope you like.
