Lucy POV

Carter and Gray want to go on another demon hunt, but I don't think I'm ready. Levy and I have been a wreak since the death of the two sibling demons.  It was just devastating.

"Ready to go, Lucy?" Carter asks.

I look up at him from my seat on the couch in the hotel room we all rented. I nod and he offers me his hand. I take it and he pulls me up off the couch.

"Carter..." I say his name softly as I look at our connected hands.

"Yeah?" He asks.

"I- I don't think I can-"

"Lucy. Don't worry you will be fine. I will protect you."

I smile up at him.

"Now come on lets go!" Carter says and pulls us out the door.

Gray and Levy are waiting for us outside and we join them.

"Hey Guys!" Levy says waving at us.

"Hi." Carter and I reply.

Gray coughs awkwardly and motions to our still joined hands.

I blush a million shades of red and pull my hand away from Carter. Carters cheeks flush pink and he turns  his head away from mine. Levy and Gray snicker at us and we start  to walk around town.

"So..." Gray says breaking the silence. "I think we should get demon slayer marks."

"Yeah, that's a good idea!" I say.

Levy and Carter nod in agreement.

"I think we should get them on our arms." Carter suggests.

"Yeah." Gray says and  gives Carter a fist bump.

I giggle and turn to look at  Levy. She hasn't really said much. I walk over to her while the guys are talking.

"Levy, what's up? Is something wrong?" I ask her.

"I just miss our comrades." She replies simply.

"Me too."

"I want to visit them. It's been a year, Lucy"

"Yeah, we should." I agree with her.

"I miss....  Gajeel." Levy sniffles.

I hug her and Gray walks over too. I guess he must have heard us talking.

"We can visit." Gray says and pats our heads.

"Really?" I ask excitedly.

"Well, yeah. Let's start  heading there now. It won't hurt to take some time off." He suggests.

Levy and I  hug Gray and thank him.

"Carter!" I call out.

"What?" He asks smiling at us.

"We are going to take some time off to visit our comrades. How about you visit your family?" I tell him.

He hesitates for a minutes and slightly nods.

"I guess we will meet up back here in Hargeon." I say.

"Yeah..."

"So we will meet you back here tomorrow."
