FINCH SAT at the dining table, a cup of coffee held in her hands as her brother stood above her, a first aid kit lying open on the table besides him. He was currently cleaning her reopened wound, he didn't even ask for the context of why it was open -- he just sighed and told her to sit down while he went off to get the first aid kit. Fawkes sighed as he gently dabbed the cloth against her head,

"Finch -- "

"I was kidnapped. It was take care of. And no, I do not want to talk about it." Finch stated as she picked up her coffee cup

"But -- "

Finch set her cup down, "I just told you, Fawkes, I don't want to talk to it, okay?" She snapped as she closed her eyes

Her twin sighed, "I was worried. Really worried, Fin. I even called Phoenix."

The witch pulled her head away from him fast, nearly breaking her neck to look at him, "You did WHAT!?" She exclaimed, staring at him in shock

"I wanted to see if had gone there!" He defended

"Why would I ever go there?" She demanded, slamming her hand down on the table, "After what happened I never want to see him here ever again, do you understand?" Finch said roughly

Fawkes sighed, setting the cloth down as he picked up an antibiotic cream to apply to her wound, "He's not going to show up here. He knows how you feel, Finch, but that doesn't mean he won't worry."

"Doesn't matter."

Finch stood up, picking up the first aid kit, "I'll be in my room if you need me." She stated walking away from her brother and up the stairs without a glance in his direction as she stomped off

FINCH WAS propped up against the side of her bed, flipping through a photo album she had dug up from beneath her bed. Her head was wrapped and fully bandaged and her split lip had antibiotic cream on it to keep it from getting infected, she didn't look too pretty but at least she wasn't in too much pain now. Finch sighed as she looked through the photos of a happy family, now chuckling at how far away those pictures were. A mom, an aunt, a daughter, and two sons; a happy little family -- that was now a whirlwind of catastrophe.

She closed the book, tossing it to the side as she pushed herself up off the ground, walking towards her window seat as she fell onto the cushions. She picked up a pillow, hugging it to her chest as she placed her chin on it, staring sadly out the window. Finch missed her family when it was a whole, the whole happy little picture, a small little suburban home, and everybody there -- together. The girl closed her eyes, thinking back to the times her mother and brother were actually there.

The girl reopened her eyes, continuing to stare out the window before she buried her head into the pillow, letting out a stifled groan. Finch stood up walking out of her room and towards her brother's, a single goal on her mind as she did. Gently she pushed open his door, leaning against the door frame,

"Hey." She said softly as she pressed her cheek against it

Fawkes looked up, tugging of his head phones and leaning back in his chair, "Hey."

She puckered her lips, "Can we talk?" She asked

"Sure." He said pushing his chair back to look at her, "What's up?"

She stepped into his room, "I wanted to apologize." Finch stated, "I've been an A Class jerk to you lately and you don't deserve it. It's just everything is just so stressful and I -- I should have just trusted you and told you -- "

"It's okay, Fin. I get it, okay?" He said as he stood up, "And you don't have to tell me everything tonight, but we will have to talk about it." Fawkes pulled her in for a hug, "You keep coming home with all these injuries and I'm ready to kill those Salvatore's."

"No, no its not their fault." She argues, "They try their best to look out for me and everyone else." Finch explains

"I know but you still get caught up in it -- it's their fault you're invovled."

Finch sighs as her brother pulls away, "And new topic -- do you have his number?"

"Whose?"

"Phoenix's."

Fawkes stared at her open mouthed, "Seriously?"

"Yeah," Finch nodded, "I think I need to fix some things. And I want to start with him."

Fawkes smiled at his sister, "He still has the same number, if you didn't delete him I'm pretty sure you u can still call."

The girl nodded, "Okay, I'm gonna call him. Don't listen in." She smiled before turning away and going back into her room, closing the door behind her, she took a deep breath and picked up her phone as she sat down on her bed, scrolling through her contacts.

Her finger hovered over his name for a few seconds before she clicked on it, calling her brother for the first time in a long time. The phone rang three times before the line picked up and Phoenix answered,

"Hello?"

"Hey, P."

FINCH ALMOST cried when she got the call from Stefan, her heart breaking for her new found friendship. The call happened almost immediately after she got off the phone with Phoenix, Stefan telling her Katherine wasn't in the tomb and that Sheila Bennett had died.

"Fawkes, I gotta go!" She yelled tugging on her sneakers as she dashed for, not even waiting for a response

She hopped into her truck, shoving the keys into the engine as she quickly drove off heading right over to the Salvatore Boarding House to see Stefan and Damon. She felt so bad for Damon, she knew he would be hear broken by the news of his love not even in the tomb.

She pulled into the driveway of their home and tore out of the truck and running for the house. Out of breath, she knocked on the door waiting for it to open as she tapped her fingers against her thighs impatiently.

Stefan pulled open the door, not surprised by the sight of Finch standing on in porch, "Where is he?" She asked stepping inside

"Living room." He said following after her as she headed for her friend

"Damon..." She said softly as she spotted him moving towards the vampire who sat staring into the fireplace in front of him

She sat besides him, her eyes on him as she took his head before staring into the fire with him, her face sad as Stefan joined them. None of three said anything as they sat besides one another, just staring into the fire.
