28 || the wrath of a demon witch isn't something to underestimate

THE STATE of panic that Finch woke up in was something that rattled her skull as she scrambled up into a sitting position on the motel bed she lie in. Besides her was a sleepy Elena, and in front of her was Ben Mckittrick an old high school student who -- from what she could tell -- was a newly turned vampire. Finch could tell where she was because Damon had taken her there earlier that day, but had made her wait in the car. Finch pressed a hand against Elena's shoulder gently shaking her awake. The brunette groggily awakens, slowly blinking as she meets Finch's worried gaze.

The human's eyebrows furrow as the witch raises a finger to her lips, signaling to her that she had to remain silent. With her other hand, she pointed towards the sleeping Ben sitting a chair at the end of the bed. Elena gasps and sits up frantically as she looks for a way out and stares at the front door. She looks between the door and the vampire trying to see if she can make it without waking him. Finch grabs her arm, making her stay on the bed behidn her before she quietly slides off of it. Carefully, she steps over Ben's leg with the human following after her. Finch turns a little to watch Ben every now and then as she unlocks the deadbolt, just as she's about to open the door, the vampire speaks, "I wouldn't." He warns inching closer to the duo as she tries to use his compulsion on the witch and vervain wearing human,

"Don't try to escape. Don't even move. Do you understand?"

Elena nods, "I understand."

"I understand." He vampire scoffs and turns away to a bottle of blood from the mini fridge

Finch pulls open the front door and the two bolt out only to find Anna blocking their escape. The older vampire grabs them by her hair pushing them back into the motel room with a harsh force,

"Seriously?!" Anna fumes at the new vampire

"I told her not to move! I did that eye thing that you taught me!" Ben argues

Anna groans angrily, "And forgot the lesson about vervain! She dates a vampire, Ben. And she is a witch, she can't be compeled. Duh!" Anna pushes Elena up against a wall and opens the bathroom door

"Who are you? What do you want?" Elena demands

Anna scoffs as she shoves Finch into the bathroom, "Does it matter?" The vampire then forcefully pushes Elena into the bathroom slamming the door shut loudly

Elena sighs as she watches Finch kick at the door, swearing angrily at the vampires on the other side of it beofre she flips on the light. The human calmly surveys the room before spotting Bonnie -- who lies unconscious in the bathtub to the right of them. She runs over to the newly created witch,
