He made it to school, followed by his "friends"
The first bell had already rung,
They all split to get to class on time.
He stopped at his locker to get his books.
And a letter fell out.
The front read in dark purple writing
"To Jason Alexander Cooper"
He picked it up in haste.
Rushing to class.
Once again passing someone.
Once again not noticing that girl.
Once again seeing right passed the only person who ever really cared for him.
In class he opened the letter.
It read "I love you"
That was it... Three words, eight letters
He was confused.
The person knew his full name.
That's what he noticed, not the three words that meant everything to the writer. But meant nothing to him.
He ripped a piece of notebook paper out of his binder and wrote.
"Dear princess...
I hate you"
He folded it up, and at the end of the day he left it sticking out of his locker.
He didn't know what he had done.
He didn't know he sent that to the only person who is trying to fix him.
And he certainly did not expect what happened next.
